Ann Bockert
Ann Bockert, 71, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 25, 1932, in Toledo, Ohio. A resident for nine years, she was a retired secretary for a manufacturing firm.
She is survived by two sons, Patrick Bockert of Long Beach, Calif., and Michael Bockert of Las Vegas; one daughter, Tina Nunn, and one granddaughter, Emily Pisciuneri, both of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.
The family suggests donations to the American Lung Association, 3375 Glen Ave., No. 7, Las Vegas, NV 89121.
Eileen B. Brookman
Eileen B. Brookman, 82, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 25, 1921, in Denver. A resident for more than 50 years, she was a retired assemblywoman.
She is survived by her husband, George; one daughter, Deborah Brookman of Las Vegas; and one brother, Marvin Milstein of Culver City, Calif.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Main. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.
Marlene M. Dodd
Marlene M. Dodd, 72, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 9, 1932, in Pennsylvania. A resident for 55 years, she was a retired casino cashier and master home builder.
She is survived by one daughter, Kathy M. Dodd; one brother, William Morrison; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Catherine Harnish
Catherine Harnish, 89, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born June 4, 1915, in Wheeling, W.Va. A resident for 32 years, she was a factory worker for a cash register manufacturer and worked at the Las Vegas Hilton gift shop.
She is survived by one brother, Charles Hoffman, and one granddaughter, Tonja Sweeney, both of Las Vegas.

Bonnie Lou Johnson
Bonnie Lou Johnson, 55, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 7, 1949, in Newark, N.J. A resident for 23 years, she was a sales clerk.
She is survived by one son, Kenneth Johnson, one daughter, Renee Johnson, and one sister, Nancy Leary, all of Metuchen, N.J.; and one grandchild.

Virginia Kavall
Virginia Kavall, 78, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 14, 1925, in Dorchester, Mass. A resident for 15 years, she was a retired owner-operator of a bakery.
She is survived by her husband, John; four daughters, Diane Burklow, Barbara Kavall and Karyn Klinefelter, all of Las Vegas, and Gayle Farrens of Phoenix; and two sons, Butch Kavall of Las Vegas and John T. Kavall of Henderson.
Visitation is scheduled 4 p.m. until a 6 p.m. service Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.

Geraldine M. Lawton
Geraldine M. Lawton, 83, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. A retired department store buyer, she was born Oct. 14, 1920, in Genou, Mont.
She is survived by her husband, James F.; one daughter, Helena of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; three sons, Doug of San Diego, Donald of Ramona, Calif., and William of Henderson; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2 p.m. until a 6 p.m. vigil Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be 9 a.m. Friday in Palm Chapel, Cheyenne.

Felicia Barbara Schaming
Felicia Barbara Schaming, 87, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 3, 1916, in Everson, Pa. A resident for 43 years, she was a retired nurse.
She is survived by four daughters, Johanna Castle of Clarkston, Wash., Felicia Dillard of San Diego and Susan Spaine and Gretchen Nelson, both of San Diego; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Woodlawn Cemetery. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.
Stanley Shpetner
Stanley Shpetner, 79, of Las Vegas died June 22 in a local hospital. He was born March 5, 1925, in Springfield, Mass. A resident for 15 years, he was a retired television and movie producer and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by one son, Stanley Shpetner of San Anselmo, Calif.; one daughter, Patty Shpetner-Lynch of Austin, Texas; one sister, Norma Levin of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands; and one grandson.

Florence Marie Steele
Florence Marie Steele, 83, of Las Vegas and Richland, Wash., died Saturday in Richland. She was born Aug. 13, 1920, in Lostine, Ore. A part-time resident of Las Vegas for many years, she was a retired caseworker for foster children, a World War II veteran in the Army Corps of Engineers, received her home economics degree from Oregon State College, was a member of Allied Arts of Richland, the American Rose Society, Claar Cellars and was an artist who had her work displayed at several exhibits.
She is survived by one daughter, Sharon of Kennewick, Wash.; one son, Charles of Seattle; two sisters, Beverly Schultz and Hazel Handley, both of Las Vegas.

Robert E. Teeters, 74, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local care center. He was born Nov. 4, 1929, in Springfield, Mo. A resident for 30 years, he was a retired regional manager in the fueling industry and a Korean War Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Irene; one son, Robert L. Teeters of Las Vegas; one sister, Virginia Marlin of Oregon; and three grandchildren.
Graveside services were scheduled at noon today in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., handled arrangements.
Joseph Vitale
Joseph Vitale, 93, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local care center. He was born Oct. 3, 1910, in Palermo, Sicily. A resident for 42 years, he was a retired carpenter.
He is survived by two sons, Charles Lomax of Hoenwald, Tenn., and Fred Lomax of Oahu, Hawaii; two daughters, Glenda Shanahan of Oak Forest, Ill., and Grace Eisnach of Las Vegas; 20 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Mary V. Wickoff
Mary V. Wickoff, 72, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 14, 1932, in New Mexico. A resident for 45 years, she was a retired medical transcriber.
She is survived by her companion, Noel Nilson; two brothers, Robert D'Avignon and James D'Avignon; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
