Charles Bornstein
Charles Bornstein, 53, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 9, 1951, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 25 years, he was a certified public accountant.
Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling private arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Patricia Finelli
Patricia Finelli, 66, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. A hairdresser, she was born Aug. 27, 1937, in Brooklyn, N.Y.
She is survived by her husband, Matthew; and one son, Philip Finelli of Las Vegas.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today with a 6 p.m. vigil in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Jones.
Chuck Hartmann
Chuck Hartmann, 70, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born April 8, 1934, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for three years, he was a retired operating engineer for a construction company and a member of Operating Engineers Local 30.
Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.
Florence Hunter
Florence Hunter, 88, of Henderson died Wednesday in a local care center. She was born May 14, 1916, in Santa Clara, Utah. A resident for 68 years, she was a church librarian and primary librarian for the Boulder City LDS chapel.
She is survived by one son, Charles Hunter of Las Vegas; three daughters, Kathleen Hunter of Henderson, Eva Hunter of Portland, Ore., and Sharon Allen of Ramah, N.M.; three sisters, Rena Leavitt of Veyo, Utah, and Mae Whitehead and Nina Atkin, both of St. George, Utah; one brother, Norman Gubler of Santa Clara; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 2 p.m. service Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Graveside services will be 8 a.m. Tuesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the National Parkinson Foundation Inc., 1501 Northwest Ninth Ave., Miami, FL 33136-1494.
Frank Just
Frank Just, 79, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 30, 1924, in New York. A resident for 12 years, he was a retired butcher and an Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Rose; one son, David Just; one daughter, Dianne Testdorf; and two grandchildren.
Mass was scheduled at 11 a.m. today in Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 5485 E. Charleston Blvd., followed by graveside services at 1:20 p.m. in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, handled arrangements.
Sylvia P. Kerr
Sylvia P. Kerr, 52, of Las Vegas died June 17 in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 10, 1951, in Sacramento. A resident for 25 years, she owned a trucking company.
She is survived by her husband, Anthony Smith; two daughters, Christina Johnston and Kimberly Johnston; and two grandchildren.
Services will be 4:30 p.m. Saturday in Hallelujah Christian Fellowship, 3630 N. Rancho Drive. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Rhea Roxy Marvosh
Rhea Roxy Marvosh, 85, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. A homemaker, she was born Dec. 29, 1918, in Utah.
She is survived by her husband, Samuel; five sons, Michael Marvosh, Dennis Marvosh and Jim Marvosh, all of Las Vegas, Kent Marvosh of Washington state and Merrill Marvosh of California; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Daniel J. Pintaric
Daniel J. Pintaric, 81, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born July 7, 1922, in Cleveland. A resident for 26 years, he was a retired police officer and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by six sons, Dan Pintaric Jr. of Aurora, Colo., Jerry Pintaric of Santa Cruz, Calif., Kenneth Booth and David Booth, both of Cleveland, and Steven Booth and Dale Booth, both of Las Vegas; and six grandchildren.

James Albert Shipman Sr.
James Albert Shipman Sr., 54, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born June 12, 1950, in California. A resident for 29 years, he was a bar porter, an Army veteran and a member of the Culinary Union.
He is survived by his wife, Coleen Beth; one son, James Albert Shipman Jr.; three brothers, Daniel Shipman, John Shipman and Michael Shipman; two sisters, Ann D. Flynn and Monica Bennett.
Visitation is scheduled 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Tuesday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Graveside services will follow at 1:20 p.m. Tuesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Marie Nease Starkey
Marie Nease Starkey, 84, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 27, 1919, in Mason, W.Va. A resident for 26 years, she was a government research clerk for the Department of Agriculture.
She is survived by one son, Paul Starkey of Las Vegas.
No local services are scheduled. Services and burial will be in Parkersburg, W.Va. Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.
Billy Ray Steckler
Billy Ray Steckler, 71, of Henderson died Saturday in Ireland. He was born March 30, 1933, in Durango, Colo. A resident for seven years, he was a retired machinist at a university.
He is survived by his wife, Della Marge; two sons, Vincent Steckler of Great Falls, Va., and Brian Steckler of Cottage Grove, Ore.; two daughters, Lavonne Kramer of Cary, N.C., and Rozeanne Steckler of Encinitas, Calif.; and 13 grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 1 p.m. until a 3 p.m. service Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Stanley F. Wheeler Jr.
Stanley F. Wheeler Jr., 64, of Henderson died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 5, 1939, in Queens, N.Y. A resident for 17 years, he was a retired subway conductor.
He is survived by his wife, Patty; one daughter, Laura Wheeler of Henderson; and one sister, Marie Wheeler of Flushing, N.Y.
A memorial service will be 5:30 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.
