Las Vegas subsidiary names new president

Student Assistance Corp., a Las Vegas-based subsidiary of education funding corporation Sallie Mae, has gotten a new president.
Paul Farinacci, will lead Student Assistance Corp., the debt management operations arm of Sallie Mae.
Student Assistance Corp. handles delinquent accounts on behalf of student loan guarantors from 60 days of delinquency to default, which begins at 270 days.
Farinacci previously worked as executive vice president and chief sales and marketing officer of IntelliRisk Management Corp.
