Conference planned on heart disease
The Women and Heart Disease Conference, an all-day meeting on heart disease and stroke, will be held from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Tuscany Suites, 255 E. Flamingo Road.
The conference includes a heart healthy lunch, blood pressure and glucose screenings, speakers Dr. James Mock, cardiologist, and Dr. Trina Wiggins, and interactive workshops.

CCSN will hold massage clinics
Community College of Southern Nevada massage specialists will hold a summer clinic from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., now through Aug. 8 at the West Charleston Campus, 6375 W. Charleston Blvd.
CCSN's massage specialists learn hands-on techniques such as Swedish, prenatal and sports massage, acupressure and triggerpoint deep tissue bodywork.
Appointments for the one-hour massages can be made by calling the Massage Therapy Hotline anytime at 651-5535.
Calls will be answered live during the clinic's operating hours; students will return calls left in voice mail to set appointments.
International Training in Communication,
Silver Key Club, will hold an orientation from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Denny's, 3081 Maryland Parkway. Call Phyllis at 735-6501.
