Caesars Entertainment Inc. has awarded a $100,000 grant to Opportunity Village, a nonprofit organization serving people with intellectual disabilities in Las Vegas.
The funds will help to build a third, $26 million campus in southwest Las Vegas that will open in 2006. The new campus will include a life and career development center, a leisure recreation complex and an administration building.
Opportunity Village, established in 1954, provides vocational training, employment, advocacy and recreation for around 600 mentally disabled people in Las Vegas. The organization currently operates two work training and employment campuses and a thrift store.
