Helen 'Pinky' Badeaux
Helen "Pinky" Badeaux, 83, of Boulder City died Tuesday in Boulder City. She was born May 10, 1921, in East St. Louis, Ill. A resident for 37 years, she was an apartment manager.
She is survived by three daughters, Pat Hoffman of Sacramento, Linda Sawyer of San Diego and Susan Bacle of Ukiah, Calif.; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 4 p.m. July 8 in Boulder City Family Mortuary, 833 Nevada Way, Suite 1.
The family suggests donations to the American Heart Association, 6370 W. Flamingo Road, Suite 1, Las Vegas, NV 89103.
Albert Bailus
Albert Bailus, 90, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 8, 1913, in Cleveland. A resident for 50 years, he was a retired hotel executive, a World War II Army veteran, a member of Masons Daylite Lodge 44, American Legion and Shriners Zelzah Temple.
He is survived by his wife, Jean; one son, Mark Bailus of Las Vegas; one sister, Elaine Miller of Cleveland; and two grandchildren.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Joseph Bell
Joseph Bell, 91, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local care center. He was born June 11, 1913, in the Bronx, N.Y. A resident for eight years, he was a retired automobile mechanic.
He is survived by one daughter, Joan Cregier of New York; two sons, Robert Bell of Henderson and Joseph Bell Jr. of Indiana; one sister, Frances Ducharme of New York; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Monday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.
Nolana Mae Bowman
Nolana Mae Bowman, 63, of Las Vegas died June 24 in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 7, 1940, in Long Beach, Calif. A resident for eight months, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Cal; three sons, Chris Bowman, Chad Bowman and Clint Bowman, all of Las Vegas; one daughter, Cheri Roberts of Stewartsville, N.J.; one brother, Donn Worsley of Salt Lake City; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. today in the LDS Spanish Hills Ward. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Viola Jeanette Davis
Viola Jeanette Davis, 86, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 23, 1918, in Ohio. A resident for 34 years, she was a homemaker, a member of TOPS and League of Women Voters.
She is survived by one son, William Davis; one daughter, Jan Biggerstaff; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the Lions Club or Casa Foundation.
Leon Friedland
Leon Friedland, 90, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 9, 1913, in Buffalo, N.Y. A resident for six years, he was a retired real estate broker and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by one son, David Friedland, and one granddaughter, Sarah Rose Friedland, both of Las Vegas.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Anthony M. Guerin
Anthony M. Guerin, 30, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born March 15, 1974, in Nevada. A lifelong resident, he was an electronics technician and a Marine Corps veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Dawn-Marie; her parents, Robert and Catherine Guerin; one daughter, Katherine Ruth Guerin; and two brothers, Robert and Daniel.
A memorial service will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Good Samaritan Lutheran Church, 6500 W. Flamingo Road. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the Benevolent Fund for daughter Katherine, in care of Good Samaritan Lutheran Church, through Washington Mutual.
Richard G. Gushwa
Richard G. Gushwa, 75, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. He was born Feb. 11, 1929, in Osceola, Ind. A resident for 25 years, he was a retired police officer and a World War II and Korean War Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Annie; two daughters, Linda Horowitz of Osceola, Ind., and Melinda Gushwa of St. Louis; one son, Michael R. Gushwa of Las Vegas; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Harold Hall
Harold Hall, 66, of Henderson died Tuesday in Henderson. He was born Feb. 5, 1938, in Tulare, Calif. A resident for eight years, he was a retired superintendent and an Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Janis; three sons, Greg Hall of Omaha, Neb., Darren Hall of Orange County, Calif., and Cliff Hall of Henderson; one daughter, Denise Folin of Fallbrook, Calif.; four brothers; three sisters; and five grandchildren.

Jennifer Ann Holmes
Jennifer Ann Holmes, 38, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 22, 1965, in St. Joseph, La. A resident for 35 years, she was a teacher's assistant at EOB.
She is survived by three daughters, Shamieka Holmes, Miesha Williams and Erica Holmes, one son, Liborio Holmes, and two sisters, Inez Watson and Debra Ann Holmes, all of Las Vegas; and six brothers, Matthew Holmes Jr., Michael Holmes, Donald R. Loyd, Lee Oscar Loyd and Jerry L. Bates, all of Las Vegas, and Henry Loyd Jr. of Louisiana.
Visitation is scheduled 1-7 p.m. Friday in Thomas and Jones Funeral Home, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Bethel Baptist Church, 400 W. Adams Blvd. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Jeann B. Jasper
Jeann B. Jasper, 69, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 14, 1934, in Madison, Wis. A resident for 15 years, she was a retired financier for the federal government.
She is survived by one brother, Bonard C. Norton of Elgin, Texas.
Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Friday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Sylvia Molose
Sylvia Molose, 85, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local hospice. She was born Dec. 17, 1918, in Chicago. A resident for 27 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two grandchildren including granddaughter, Donna Diantonio of Henderson; one brother, Carlo Messina, and one sister, Virginia Caruso, both of Chicago; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 10 a.m. service Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Elaine Nitti, 69, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born June 11, 1935, in New York City. A resident for eight years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Donald A.; two sons, Donald R. Nitti of Harker Heights, Texas, and Robert A. Nitti of Appomattox, Va.; one brother, Salvatore Ianniello, and one sister, Louise Ianniello, both of New York City; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4 p.m. until a 6:30 p.m. vigil today in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista Drive.
Lydia Resma
Lydia Resma, 70, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. She was born Jan. 20, 1934, in Cebu, Philippines. A resident for 40 years, she was a retired hotel employee.
She is survived by one daughter, Rhea Jethmal of San Ramon, Calif.; one son, Michael Nealon of Phoenix; one sister, Pacita Robbins, and two brothers, Michael Resma and Tony Resma, all of Las Vegas; and four grandsons.
A memorial service will be 6 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Vincent Sacchetti
Vincent Sacchetti, 77, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born June 29, 1927, in Chicago. A resident for 12 years, he was a retired mechanic for a trucking company and a Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, RoseMarie; two sons, Vincent Sacchetti and Michael Mattas, both of Chicago; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
Leo Barton Sherwood
Leo Barton Sherwood, 87, of Boulder City died Saturday in Boulder City. He was born Sept. 9, 1916, in Clovis, N.M. A resident for three years, he was an explosives technician.
He is survived by his wife, Lillian; three sons, James Sherwood of Reno, Gary Sherwood of Boulder City and William Sherwood of California; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Francisco Terrones
Francisco Terrones, 37, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 20, 1966, in San Diego. A resident for 19 years, he was a retail security officer.
He is survived by one daughter, Sarah Terrones of North Las Vegas; his father, Francisco Terrones of San Isidro, Calif.; his mother, Carmen Villanueva, and one brother, Erer Terrones, both of Las Vegas; and three sisters, Alma Alicia Terrones of Hawaii, Veronica Terrones of Las Vegas and Marla Becerra of North Las Vegas.

Shoshana Yahav
Shoshana Yahav, 57, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born April 3, 1947, in Germany. A resident for 11 years, she was a jeweler.
She is survived by one daughter, Gal Yahav, one son, Ken Yahav, her mother, Henia Polivoda, and one sister, Yona Nojlander, all of Las Vegas.
Graveside services were scheduled at 3 p.m. today in Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane, is handling arrangements.
