Alverna Albert
Alverna Albert, 53, of Las Vegas died Sunday in North Las Vegas. She was born June 1, 1950, in Tallulah, La. A resident for 30 years, she was a hotel cage manager.
She is survived by her husband, Joe; two sons, Joe Albert Jr. and Stephen Albert, and one daughter, Sheneua Albert, all of Las Vegas; one brother, Ronnie Bosby of Los Angeles; two sisters, Verlena Bosby of Los Angeles and T. Bosby of Louisiana; and three grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-8 p.m. Monday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Calvary Southern Baptist Church, 1600 E. Cartier Ave., North Las Vegas. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Jacqueline Baugher
Jacqueline Baugher, 59, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 12, 1944, in San Diego. A resident for 40 years, she was a retired Circus Circus room reservation clerk.
She is survived by one daughter, Misty Witter of Las Vegas; one brother, Jim Wadham of Seattle; and two grandchildren.
Visitation was scheduled until 1 p.m. today in King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane, followed by graveside services in Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., handled arrangements.
Leland Beatty
Leland Beatty, 91, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 29, 1912, in Overton. A lifelong Southern Nevada resident, he was a body shop manager and a 1932 graduate of Las Vegas High School.
He is survived by two sons, Lee Beatty of Las Vegas and David Beatty of Duck Creek, Utah; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.

Curtis E. Brown
Curtis E. Brown, 70, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born April 17, 1933, in Des Moines, Iowa. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired lamp parts salesman and a Korean War Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Marjorie M.; one sister, Vivian Fisher of Seattle; one brother, Dick Brown of Florida; and three grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Jewel Cohen
Jewel Cohen, 82, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born April 22, 1921, in New York. A resident for 10 years, she was an actress and past president of B'nai B'rith.
She is survived by her companion, Tess; two sons, Brad Cohen and Mark Cohen; one daughter, Deana Myers; one sister, Betsy Lehrfeld; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling private arrangements.
Daniel 'O.T.' Crisp
Daniel "O.T." Crisp, 53, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. He was born Aug. 30, 1950, in Los Angeles. A resident for one year, he was a retired auto mechanic and an Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Ella; four daughters, Alicia S. Crisp of Las Vegas, Nona Humdy and Dearn H. Jeffries, both of Hawthorne, Calif., and Mary H. Clinton of Los Angeles; two sons, Otcashas D. Crisp of Los Angeles and James Humdy Jr. of California; and 11 grandchildren.
Services will be 3 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Graveside services will be 8 a.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Frances Mary Dalia
Frances Mary Dalia, 79, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Henderson. A factory worker for a wholesaler, she was born Jan. 26, 1925, in Boston.
She is survived by one son, Joseph J. Dalia.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson. Burial will be in Boston.
Agapita Delgado-Lopez
Agapita Delgado-Lopez, 81, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 6, 1922, in Guadalajara, Mexico. A resident for 25 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by three sons, Jose Gutierrez and Rosendo Delgado, both of Las Vegas, and Leonardo Gutierrez of Santa Barbara, Calif.; one sister, Francisca Lopez of Guadalajara; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
Edith Downs
Edith Downs, 75, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. She was born Oct. 24, 1928, in Germany. A resident for 52 years, she was a retired controller for an electrical contractor, a member of Women in Construction and the German American Club.
She is survived by two sons, John DeBuono of Walnut Creek, Calif., and Tony DeBuono of Sarasota, Fla.; two sisters, Brigette Morgan of London and Marianne Thieme of Germany; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation is private. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. A celebration of her life will be 3 p.m. Saturday at the deceased's home. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Robert 'Roby' Gibson
Robert "Roby" Gibson, 18, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 7, 1986, in Las Vegas. He was an Eldorado High School student and member of the President's Honor Society.
He is survived by his father, Robert Gibson of Texas; his mother and stepfather, Teresa and Liston Hazel, and one sister, Cassandra Hazel, all of Las Vegas; one brother, Chris Olson of El Paso, Texas; and his grandparents, Betty and Ken Devine of Las Vegas and Jan Gibson of South Dakota.
A memorial service was scheduled at 4 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
Bertha L. Harris
Bertha L. Harris, 57, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local care center. She was born Oct. 11, 1946, in Louisiana. A resident for 10 years, she was a school bus assistant.
She is survived by her husband, Carl; one daughter, Tamara Harris; three brothers, Thomas Stephens, Reuben Stephens and Wallace Stephens; four sisters, Erma Jean Miller, Shirley Stephens, Patricia Mellon and Mary Glenn Matthews; and three grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Saturday in Garden Memorial Funeral Home, 3600 W. Vegas Drive. Services and burial will be in California.
Mamie E. Jackson
Mamie E. Jackson, 60, of North Las Vegas died Tuesday in North Las Vegas. A university professor, she was born Sept. 26, 1943, in Alabama.
She is survived by one sister, Elizabeth Rice of Aliceville, Ala.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Aliceville. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Hermann Anton Leeb II
Hermann Anton Leeb II, 67, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local health care center. He was born June 9, 1936, in Germany. A resident for 40 years, he was a retired Hilton showroom captain.
He is survived by his wife, Helga; one daughter, Angelika Gray, and one son, Anton Leeb, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Tony Leeb of LaJolla, Calif.; two sisters, Anita Marx and Inge Starka, both of Austria; and three grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.
Rose Marascia
Rose Marascia, 91, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 17, 1912, in Brooklyn, N.Y.
She is survived by one daughter, Betty Merlino of Las Vegas; and numerous grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m. until a noon service Saturday in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.
Richard D. McCutcheon
Richard D. McCutcheon, 69, of Las Vegas died Jan. 11 in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 4, 1934, in Oregon. A construction supervisor, he was a Marine Corps veteran.
He is survived by one son, William McCutcheon; and two daughters, Leslie and Deanna.
Graveside services will be noon Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Garden Memorial Funeral Home, 3600 W. Vegas Drive, is handling arrangements.
John Peterson
John Peterson, 63, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 23, 1940, in Bismarck, N.D. A resident for 16 years, he was a health care administrator, a Vietnam War Air Force veteran, chairman of the board for the American Red Cross and a member of the UNLV Foundation.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy; one daughter, Liz Peterson; and two sons, John Peterson and Patrick Peterson.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Monday with a 6 p.m. rosary Monday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph, Husband of Mary Catholic Church, 7260 W. Sahara Ave.

Burdell Walker
Burdell Walker, 66, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 3, 1938, in Princeton, Ark. A resident for 48 years, he was a retired food buyer for the Sahara hotel, a member of the Teamsters Union for 25 years and an Air Force veteran.
He is survived by six daughters, Latonya Valentine and Pamela Cameron, both of Georgia, and Ladell Hall, Cecelia Walker, Vicki Walker and Areial Walker, all of Las Vegas; two sons, Bruce Crawford and Burdell Walker Jr., both of Las Vegas; four brothers, Bernard Walker, Alvin Walker and Melvin Walker, all of Sacramento, and Ellis Walker of Las Vegas; four sisters, Jean Durham and Doris Wysinger, both of Sacramento, Cecelia Walker of Georgia and Shirley Walker of Las Vegas; 17 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Sunday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday in Zion Methodist Church, 2108 N. Revere St. Graveside services will follow at 1:20 p.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
