Golden Tavern Group of Las Vegas, a subsidiary of Golden Gaming Inc., will open two new taverns at 3770 S. Hualapai Way, between Desert Inn Road and I-215, and 1651 E. Sunset Road, between Eastern Avenue and Paradise Road, on Feb. 1 and in early March, respectively.
The Sunset Road tavern will be a free-standing building and replace an existing PT's Pub nearby that will close. The taverns are part of a new concept called PT's Gold that will offer a "classic Las Vegas" theme and a full menu including peppered shrimp appetizers and filet mignon.
PT's Gold taverns will be 6,000 square feet and include 15 video poker machines, pool tables and golf arcade games. Each location will include 24-hour service and a menu that is "much more than traditional 'bar food,' " Golden Gaming Director of Operations Stephen Arcana said. The company expects to operate six PT's Gold locations in Nevada by the end of the year.
