Myrtle F. Baxter
Myrtle F. Baxter, 91, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born June 12, 1912, in Trenton, Utah. A resident for 12 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by three daughters, Carole Pack of Hattieville, Ark., Barbara Baxter of Las Vegas and Mary Anne Hebert of Jacksonville, Ore.; one son, Max D. Baxter of Long Beach, Calif.; 13 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Services were scheduled at 11 a.m. today in the LDS chapel at Alta Drive and Jones Boulevard. Burial will be in California. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, handled arrangements.
Eddie Berkley
Eddie Berkley, 82, of North Las Vegas died Monday in North Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 22, 1921, in Centralia, Ill. A resident for three years, he was a retired roofer, bus dispatcher and carpenter and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by three sons, Ervin Berkley of Las Vegas, Darryl Berkley of Portland, Ore., and Eddie Berkley II of Anchorage, Alaska; three daughters, Ellen Johnson and Doris Barney, both of Anchorage, and Donna McCaskill of Seattle; one sister, Evelyn Howard of Detroit; 14 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 10:40 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.
Joe F. Bullock
Joe F. Bullock, 72, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 3, 1932, in Sapulpa, Okla. A resident for 12 years, he was a retail salesman and a Korean War Marine Corps veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby Bullock of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 6-8 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Graveside services will be noon Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Geneva Crook
Geneva Crook, 75, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. She was born Nov. 26, 1928, in Warren County, Tenn. A resident for 12 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Karen Balicki of Las Vegas; two sisters, Gladys Maynard and Thelma Hilbert, and one brother, Jack Davenport, all of Indianapolis; and two grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling private arrangements.
Dale DeJongh
Dale DeJongh, 74, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born July 22, 1929, in Iowa. A resident for 22 years, he was a retired Greyhound bus driver, a veteran of the National Guard and a member of the LaMesa Good Sammers RV Club.
He is survived by his wife, Diane J.; two sons, Dana and Robin; and three daughters, Penny, Kim and Dawn; one stepdaughter, Kimberlie; two brothers, Clayton and Dennis; one sister, Loreen; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday in Shadow Hills Baptist Church, 7811 Vegas Drive. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Hugo Didimenico
Hugo Didimenico, 76, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. A retired Navy chief petty officer, he was born Jan. 9, 1928, in Clairton, Pa.
He is survived by one brother, Aldo of Philadelphia.
Graveside services were scheduled Jan. 23 in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., handled arrangements.
Peggy Sue Gilmour
Peggy Sue Gilmour, 62, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born May 19, 1941, in Durango, Colo. A resident for 15 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Jack; two sons, Steve Gilmour of Las Vegas and James Gilmour of Henderson; four half-brothers, Robert Chamblee of Spokane, Wash., Andy Wilson of Fredericksburg, Va., Paul Wilson of Salem, Ore., and Joe Wilson of Mammoth, Ore.; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday in St. Paul's Charismatic Episcopal Church, 141 Industrial Park Road, Henderson. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Valentine Isaac
Valentine Isaac, 78, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 24, 1925, in Peking, China. A resident for one year, she was a retired registered nurse.
She is survived by her husband, Maurice; four sons, Joseph Isaac and David Isaac, both of Nevada, and James Isaac and Daniel Isaac, both of California; 19 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Graveside services will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd.
Virginia LaVilla
Virginia LaVilla, 72, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. A waitress, she was born Dec. 7, 1931, in New York.
She is survived by two sons, Ron Pratt of New York and John Tranello of Las Vegas; three daughters, Jeanette LaVilla of Las Vegas, Carol Pratt of New York and Darlene McKinney of California; two brothers, Fred Graff of New York and Harold Graff of Colorado; and three sisters, Beatrice Sweatman of Virginia and Carol Birnie and Iva Francis, both of New York.
A memorial service will be noon Friday in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Albert Lewis
Albert Lewis, 71, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born May 4, 1932, in Scranton, Pa. A resident for 40 years, he was a retired government social worker, a Korean War Navy veteran and a member of the Jaycees.
He is survived by three daughters, Margery Williams, Jennifer McNelly and Jessica Lewis, all of Las Vegas; one sister, Beverly Kramer of Pennsylvania; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.
The family suggests donations to Child Haven, 701 N. Pecos Road, Las Vegas, NV 89101.
Annajean Marsh
Annajean Marsh, 85, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 3, 1918, in Johnstown, Pa. A resident for eight years, she was a homemaker and past president of the Ferndale Auxiliary.
She is survived by two sons, Lee R. and Robert W. Marsh; one daughter, Sandra E. Wonders; one brother, Robert Alter; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2 p.m. until a 4 p.m. service Thursday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.
Walter Williams Propst
Walter Williams Propst, 72, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. An engineer/contractor, he was born Jan. 12, 1932, in New Jersey.
He is survived by two sons, Mark Propst and Carleton Propst; and two daughters, Kimberly Spillman and Kristin Propst.
Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd., is arranging a private memorial service.

Al G. Taylor
Al G. Taylor, 83, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 27, 1920, in Marvell, Ark. A resident for five years, he was an employee of Republic Steel of Indiana.
He is survived by his wife, Morze; five daughters, Leatha Green of Chicago, Irma Dawson and Mary Carr, both of Las Vegas, Vivian Simmons of Illinois and Brenda Howard of Indiana; three sons, Isaac Taylor and Mark Taylor, both of Las Vegas, and Willie Taylor of Illinois; one godson, Donald Wilborn of Illinois; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Thursday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Second Baptist Church, 500 W. Madison Ave. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.
