LaRue G. Adamson
LaRue G. Adamson, 75, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born July 22, 1928, in Heber, Utah. A resident for many years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by three sons, Steven J. Adamson, Sterling G. Adamson and Stuart E. Adamson, and three daughters, Sharlene Trinko, Evonne Young and Jill Tillman, all of Las Vegas; two brothers, Elvin Giles and Clarence Giles; three sisters, Myrtle Michaels, Donna Lemon Coleman and Geniel Winterton; 16 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the LDS Tonopah/Civic Center chapel. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road.
Stanley Bridger
Stanley Bridger, 70, of Henderson died Friday in Henderson. A retired ceramic tile setter, he was born Oct. 28, 1933, in Illinois.
He is survived by his wife, Carol.
Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Carmella Kaye Byrd
Carmella Kaye Byrd, 57, of Las Vegas died Friday. A retired casino customer service representative, she was born April 25, 1946, in Missouri.
She is survived by two sons, Robert Byrd and Gerald Byrd, and one daughter, Lisa Byrd, all of Las Vegas.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
Marisi O. Chambers
Marisi O. Chambers, 64, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born April 13, 1939, in Sao Paulo, Brazil. A resident for 12 years, she was a retired travel agent.
She is survived by her husband, Leslie S.
A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
Cesidio A. Chiarieri
Cesidio A. Chiarieri, 91, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local care center. He was born Sept. 14, 1912, in Jersey City, N.J. A resident for seven years, he was a retired welder.
He is survived by one daughter, Roberta Kleiber of Las Vegas; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.
John M. Critcher
John M. Critcher, 71, of Las Vegas, died Dec. 7 in Las Vegas. He was born June 29, 1932, in Oklahoma City. He founded Sterling Escrow in Las Vegas and Hawaii Escrow & Title, Inc. in Hawaii, served in the Navy Reserve and Air Force.
Jack is survived by one daughter, Denise M. Kaehu; three sons, Jeff Critcher, Craig Critcher and Brian Critcher; one stepson, Sean McConnell; wife; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Services and burial were held at in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. A special Memorial service was also held at the Arizona Memorial, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
Michael Danko
Michael Danko, 34, of Henderson died Wednesday. A hotel bartender, he was born Sept. 23, 1969, in Warren, Ohio.
He is survived by his wife, Christina; and his mother, Sharon of Henderson.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Ohio. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Curtis Jones
Curtis Jones, 62, of North Las Vegas died Thursday in North Las Vegas. He was born May 29, 1941, in Pelahatchie, Miss. A resident for 43 years, he retired as a Fremont hotel bartender after 21 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Deloris; two sons, Curtis Jr. of Brandon, Miss., and Gary of Las Vegas; two daughters, Terri Jones and Letita Jerrigan, one sister, Geraldine Johnson, and two brothers, William Jr. and Joe R., all of Las Vegas; and five grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Zion United Methodist Church, 2108 N. Revere St. Graveside services will follow at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Memorial Park.
Lonnie Edward Keffer
Lonnie Edward Keffer, 75, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 13, 1928, in East Alton, Ill. A resident for 21 years, he was a retired steel worker.
He is survived by his wife, June; one son, Jeffrey Keffer of Alton; one daughter, Kathy Sears of Las Vegas; one sister, Barbara Craig of Wood River, Ill.; and six grandchildren.

Elmo 'Slim' Larason
Elmo "Slim" Larason, 90, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 9, 1913, in Oklahoma City. A resident for 62 years, he was a truck driver and a member of Teamsters Local 1939 and most recently Local 631.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley B.; four sons, Gordon Lee Larason and Jack D. Larason, both of Nevada, and Charles E. Banks and Lynn V. Welch, both of Las Vegas; one daughter, Dianne L. Land of Las Vegas; one brother, Charles Larason of Golden Valley, Ariz.; 17 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 1-7 p.m. Wednesday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Memory Gardens, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road.
John Legardy Jr.
John Legardy Jr., 80, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 31, 1923. A resident for 15 years, he was a retired audio visual supervisor.
He is survived by his wife, Doris; three sons, John Armon Legardy, Kris R. Jones and Kent R. Jones; two daughters, Akena Legardy-Lewis and Denise Legardy-Hill; 24 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is assisting with a pending memorial service.
Kathryn Ann Manning
Kathryn Ann Manning, 82, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 28, 1921, in North Carolina. A resident for 51 years, she was a homemaker and a World War II Navy veteran.
She is survived by one daughter, Kathy Madden of Las Vegas; three sisters, Ruby Hodges of Yanceyville, N.C., Nettie Decker of Bellingham, Wash., and Marian Golden of Plymouth, Mass.; one brother, Edward Neighbors of Las Vegas; two grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.
Theron Palmer Roberg
Theron Palmer Roberg, 66, of Laughlin died Tuesday in Laughlin. A manager, he was born July 1, 1937, in Belle Fourche, S.D.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ruth.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Arkansas. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Darrin Keith Schwanke
Darrin Keith Schwanke, 35, of Las Vegas died Jan. 15 in a local hospital. A truck driver for Nevada Ready Mix and a member of Teamsters Local 631, he was born Sept. 19, 1968, in Germany.
He is survived by his father, Donald L. Schwanke; one brother, Michael Schwanke of Fallon; and one sister, Dawna Dettmer of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. today with services at 6 p.m. in Garden Memorial Funeral Home, 3600 W. Vegas Drive. Burial will be private.
Abe Silverstein
Abe Silverstein, 96, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Palm Springs, Calif. A business owner, he was born Sept. 21, 1907, in Illinois.
He is survived by one son, Marshall Silverstein of Rancho Mirage, Calif.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Chicago. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Rose M. Thorn
Rose M. Thorn, 76, of Las Vegas died Jan. 19 in Las Vegas. She was born July 13, 1927, in Jacksonville, Fla. A resident for 27 years, she was a homemaker, master quilter and a member of Desert Quilters.
She is survived by her husband, Charles; four daughters, Peggie Vannozzi of Las Vegas, Bertha Bluth of Oakland, Calif., and Dorothy Drake and Lisa Linden Busen, both of Fountain, Colo.; and nine grandchildren.
Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling private arrangements.
Tommie Lee Washington
Tommie Lee Washington, 83, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 29, 1920, in Little Rock, Ark. A resident for 18 years, she was a retired teacher's aide.
She is survived by one daughter, Eyvonne Ferguson of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. until a 2 p.m. service Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
George Yago and Maureen Yago
George Yago, 83, and his wife, Maureen Yago, 79, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. George was born July 24, 1920, in New York City and was a retired letter of credit officer. Maureen was born May 4, 1924, in Cork, Ireland, and was a retired trust manager. They both worked in the banking industry and were residents for seven years.
They are survived by their son, George Yago of Camarillo, Calif. Maureen is also survived by two sisters, Rita Yago of Kinnelon, N.J., and Billie Kwiatkowski of Morris Plains, N.J.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. A private burial will follow.
The family suggests donations to the Animal Foundation, 700 N. Mojave Road, Las Vegas, NV 89101.
