Letter: Talk radio serves as wake-up call
Thursday, Jan. 22, 2004 | 8:50 a.m.
This is in reference to the Jan. 5 letter by Robert Elliott, who had harsh words for talk radio. What planet is he from?
Anyone who can still think for themselves realizes that if it were not for talk radio, we would all be in the dark about what is going on in this country. The men and women on radio may not be perfect but they are waking up Americans, enough to realize something is wrong here. If we don't do something about it we will lose our freedoms!
Mr. Elliott says the ACLU fights for the rights of all citizens. Stop, look and listen! They fight for the immoral, amoral and illegal citizens.
There is a conspiracy afoot in our beloved country and anyone who doesn't believe it should get his head out of the sand. Wake up, Mr. Elliott, and wake up America -- before it's too late.
