Letter: Smoking is subtle chemical weapon

I live in Lansing, Mich., and spend time here in Las Vegas every winter. I very much enjoyed the comments by Sandra Hanson in a Letter to the Editor that you published on Sunday. She equated cigarettes, cigars and pipes with "chemical weapons of mass destruction."
I, too, believe that smoking is a chemical weapon of mass destruction. It's just a slower way to the punch.
