The Las Vegas CSI Foundation is accepting applications for two $1,500 scholarships, designed for college students studying architecture, construction science and technology, engineering, landscape architecture, construction management and interior design.
Applicants must have completed a minimum of 1 year toward a 2-year degree or 2 years toward a 4-year degree to qualify.
The 2003 year brought CSI their first two scholarship recipients; one student from the Community College of Southern Nevada studying construction management and the other recipient from the University of Nevada Las Vegas, studying architecture.
"Rewarding the scholarships makes all the hard work getting the foundation up and running worth it," said CSI Spokeswoman Kelle Heming. "It feels good to give back to our industry by helping the students who make a difference in our future."
To apply, call Kelle Heming at 292-8320.
