Clark County has added Regina A. Olivares to its staff as a public information analyst, who replaces Less Lee Shell-Beckert, who left to take a position in the Administrative Services Department.
Olivares will assist the media and public with gathering information, scheduling media interviews and performing other tasks for the Spanish-language media. Olivares will also respond to the media's needs for information and interviews in Spanish.
Olivares may be reached at 455-3531.
Also, Clark County is currently accepting applications to fill two vacant seats on its five-member Winchester Town Advisory Board.
Applicants must be 18 years old and a registered voter with a primary residence within the Winchester Town boundaries.
TAB members are appointed by the County Commission and serve in an advisory capacity to the board. The Winchester TAB serves as a formal direct channel to Commissioners Myrna Williams and Mark James and provides them input and recommendations on the future of Winchester Town.
Interested parties should call Clark Administrative Services at 455-3530 or go to www.accessclarkcounty.com to obtain an application. Applications may be submitted by mail or in person at Administrative Services, Clark County Nevada, 500 S. Grand Central Parkway, Las Vegas, NV 89155, or by fax at 455-3558.
All applications must be received by Feb. 11.
For more information, call 455-0560.
