What do you get when Lake Tahoe joins with Lake Las Vegas? The Ultimate Ski & Tee package offered by The Village at Squaw Valley USA and MonteLago Village Resort at Lake Las Vegas.

The Ultimate Ski & Tee is a four-day excursion that includes skiing and golfing. This getaway includes two nights at The Village at Squaw Valley USA in a one-bedroom, slope-side luxury condominium and two nights lodging at MonteLago Village Resort. Four ski lift tickets are included, as are four rounds of golf on one of two courses ranked in the "Top Ten You Can Play" by Golf magazine.

The price, in effect until May 1, is $870 per person. There are a few caveats. The price is based on double occupancy availability and is not available during holidays. Certain restrictions (not listed) may apply.

Elton's at Mandalay Place: Elton's, a men's fine clothing store, includes such leading male designers as Corneliani and Hugo Boss and features fine-tailored trousers by Zanella. Owner Elton "LT" Salinas says, "The quality is in the details.

"Our fine Spanish leathers by Torras are cut by laser," says LT. The Jose Luis black-and-red lamb leather shirt available here was made made popular by Vin Diesel, who wore it in the feature film "XXX." Torras leathers take as long as six months to complete.

Also featured at Elton's are cashmere sweaters created by St. Croix, ties by Tino Cosma, Vitaliano, Pancaldi and Ypre, as well as fine hosiery, a wide array of accessories and designer footwear. A $15,000 alligator jacket is available by special order.

Elton's is open daily from 10 a.m. to midnight.

Shopping the sales at Fashion Show: Now's the time to take advantage of the after-holiday sales at major stores in the Fashion Show mall. Saks Fifth Avenue is holding Finale, their "Last best sale of the season," where shoppers can take an additional 40 percent off the already reduced prices throughout the store. Finale sales end Jan. 18.

Neiman Marcus is offering Last Call, an extra 40 percent off already reduced prices throughout the store, beginning today. Last Call ends Jan. 20.

Spring fling at Neiman Marcus: Trunk shows galore will be offered at NM, beginning with the Akris trunk show Jan. 26 and Jan. 27. A children's "White Dress" trunk show Jan. 31 will feature a collection of children's special-occasion dresses. Trunk shows and informal modeling events will take place in NM throughout February and March, ending April 3. Many of the designers, including Prada, will offer informal modeling throughout the store. Prada Focus will take place Feb. 19 through Feb. 21 and will include women's ready-to-wear, men's clothing and sportswear, shoes and handbag and Prada cosmetics.
