A dead man who had been shot in the head was discovered shortly before 11 p.m. Tuesday near Interstate 15 and Lake Mead Boulevard in North Las Vegas.
North Las Vegas Police said they were called to Goldfield Street after someone spotted the body in front of 1922 Goldfield. They found the victim, a 20-year-old man, who had apparently been murdered.
Detectives are continuing their investigation. No motive has been determined and police have no suspects.
The dead man's name had not been released as of early today.
