Policeman stable after accident

A Henderson Police Department motorcycle officer was at University Medical Center with injuries from a collision that occured at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday, police said.
Officer Norm Halliday was taken to University Medical Center with "non-life threatening" injuries, Henderson Police spokesman Keith Paul said.
A University Medical Center nursing supervisor said late Thursday that Halliday was in stable condition.
The accident was still under investigation, but alcohol was not believed to be a factor in the crash, Paul said.
Patricia Fuehrer, 52, was driving a Honda Civic that collided with the police motorcycle at Windmill Parkway and Arroyo Grande, Paul said.
