WEEKEND EDITION
January 3 - 4, 2004
The new monorail serving the resort corridor is not now a great success. It cannot compete with the CAT bus system, which goes everywhere at a cheaper rate. Then again, as a former cab driver, I know that CAT buses are no match for the taxis that give quick curb-to-curb service.
The monorail will only be a novelty thrill ride until it finally connects to downtown and the airport. Then it will become a great success!
