Wolfgang Behnke
Wolfgang Behnke, 66, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 11, 1937, in Berlin. A resident for 35 years, he was a retired architect.
He is survived by his wife, Josephine.
Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
The family suggests contributions to the donor's favorite charity.
Edward Walter Flaherty
Edward Walter Flaherty, 76, of Las Vegas died Feb. 15 in Las Vegas. He was born April 1, 1927, in Massachusetts. A resident for nine years, he was in hotel banquet sales, a Navy veteran and a lifetime member of Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He is survived by his companion, Sandy Henderson; one son, Edward James Flaherty; one daughter, Joan Inga Flaherty; one brother, Walter Leo Flaherty; and nine grandchildren.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Joseph Vincent Gutowski
Joseph Vincent Gutowski, 77, of Las Vegas died Feb. 16 in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 22, 1927, in Michigan. A resident for 10 years, he was a computer tech for the Department of Defense and a World War II and Korean War Merchant Marine and Army veteran.
He is survived by two sons, Joseph V. Gutowski of Irvine, Calif., and John C. Gutowski of Huntington Beach, Calif.; and one daughter, Merihelen Gutowski of Goleta, Calif.

Vera G. Halopoff
Vera G. Halopoff, 80, of Henderson died Monday in Henderson. She was born Feb. 14, 1924, in Los Angeles. A resident for 13 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Paul; five daughters, Janice Hunter of Los Alamitos, Calif., Suzanne Keseloff of Cerritos, Calif., Linda Michicoff of Henderson, Ellenia Suhovy of Porterville, Calif., and Paula Daniels of Folsom, Calif.; one son, Greg Halopoff of Henderson; 14 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

William Hornsby
William Hornsby, 68, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. A casino porter, he was born May 21, 1935, in Mississippi.
He is survived by three sons, Lawrence of Las Vegas, Kevin of San Diego and Tony of Phoenix; and six daughters, Felicia, Elicia, Latonya, Rosylynn and Branda, all of Las Vegas, and Gloria of Mississippi.
Garden Memorial Funeral Home, 3600 W. Vegas Drive, is handling arrangements.
Shirley P. Longchamps
Shirley P. Longchamps, 70, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 5, 1933, in Manchester, Conn. A resident for 13 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Gail Ricci of Las Vegas; three sons, Joseph Longchamps and Michael Longchamps, both of Las Vegas, and John Longchamps of Ellicott City, Md.; one sister, Doris Carpenter of Florida; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Main. Graveside services will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Linda Marin
Linda Marin, 55, of Henderson died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 29, 1948, in Binghamton, N.Y. A resident for 10 years, she was an accountant for a publishing company.
She is survived by one son, Sean Marin of Henderson; and her mother, Elizabeth Sands of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m. until a 2 p.m. service Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Amanda Marrero
Amanda Marrero, 100, of Las Vegas died Feb. 14 in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 28, 1903, in San Juan, Puerto Rico. A resident for eight years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Carmelo Marrero of Las Vegas and Billy Oliva of Islip, N.Y.; two daughters, Olga Figueroa of Hollywood, Calif., and Venci Marrero; one sister, Lucy Diaz of New Hampshire; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 9:20 a.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Joan H. Meyers
Joan H. Meyers, 90, of Las Vegas died Feb. 15 in a local hospital. She was born May 15, 1913, in Hawaii. A resident for five years, she was a past worthy matron for the Eastern Star.
She is survived by one daughter, Gwendolyn Dawson; two brothers, Bonaparte Haumea and Benjamin Haumea; one sister, Kalanihou Valmoja; five grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Emmanuel Odoms
Emmanuel Odoms, 62, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. A postal worker, he was born Sept. 5, 1941, in Jeffersonville, Ga.
He is survived by one son, Joshua Odoms.
Services will be 12:40 p.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Anna Marie Patton
Anna Marie Patton, 97, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 14, 1906, in Pittsburgh. A resident for 19 years, she was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Marianne Patton.
She is survived by one son, Thomas Patton of Pinehurst, Idaho; two daughters, Virginia Wood of Las Vegas and Patricia Martin of Pinehurst; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to an Mass Thursday in Christ the King Catholic Church, 4925 S. Torrey Pines Drive. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Garland J. Ronnow
Garland J. Ronnow, 85, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. He was born April 3, 1918, in Panaca. A lifelong resident, he was a 1936 Las Vegas High School graduate, the retired owner of Superior Tire Co., a World War II Army veteran who served in the Battle of the Bulge and received a Purple Heart.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Maisie; and one sister, Sybil Butwid of Stuart, Fla.
Visitation is scheduled 30 minutes prior to a 9:30 a.m. service Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Evelyn Simers
Evelyn Simers, 58, of Las Vegas died Feb. 13 in a local hospital. She was born July 7, 1945, and was a bartender.

Claudia Pauline Wheeler, 55, of Las Vegas died Feb. 13 in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 23, 1948, in California. A resident for six years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Lester; one son, Ronald Hargett; two daughters, Terry Miller and Cynthia Silicani; one brother, Claude Paul Hargett III; one sister, Shirley Karnes; and six grandchildren.
