Carlos Aguilar
Carlos Aguilar, 82, of Henderson died Tuesday in Henderson. A security officer, he was born July 5, 1921, in California.
He is survived by his wife, Mary R.; six daughters, Marta Aguilar of Henderson, Nellie Aguilar and Mercedes Aguilar, both of California, and Beatyrice Garcia, Susana Aguilar and Sara Aguilar, all of Nevada; two sons, Carlos Aguilar of Nevada and Gilbert Aguilar of California; two brothers, Manuel Aguilar of Nevada and Eddie Aguilar of California; one sister, Delores Medina of California; 15 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were scheduled at noon today in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, handled arrangements.
Elizabeth 'Betty' Bethke
Elizabeth "Betty" Bethke, 77, of Las Vegas died Jan. 24 in Las Vegas. A homemaker, she was born Jan. 15, 1927, in Indianapolis.
She is survived by one sister, Doris Wede of Elgin, Ill.
Private graveside services will be in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.
Patricia G. Bryan
Patricia G. Bryan, 50, of Las Vegas died Feb. 7 in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 20, 1953, in Denver. A resident for 23 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Stephen; and one daughter, Michelle L. Finnie.
Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., handled arrangements.
Leah Harriet Costanza
Leah Harriet Costanza, 86, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. She was born Jan. 27, 1918, in San Jose, Calif. A resident for 28 years, she was a retired hotel secretary.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Sam; two sons, Brian Costanza of Las Vegas and Darryl Costanza of Aurora, Colo.; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. until a 1 p.m. service Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Flossie May Francis Elliott
Flossie May Francis Elliott, 72, of Las Vegas died Feb. 13 in Henderson. She was born Sept. 1, 1931, in Tallulah, La. A resident for 38 years, she was a hotel cashier.
She is survived by three daughters, Vera Elliott and Vickie Elliott, both of Las Vegas, and Yvonne Elliott-Mason of North Las Vegas; six sons, Joshua D. Elliott Jr., Kenneth Elliott and Larry Elliott, all of Las Vegas, and Ernest Elliott, Rodney Elliott and Derrick Elliott, all of North Las Vegas; three brothers, Ernest Francis of Las Vegas and Alex Francis and Leon Francis, both of Tallulah; two sisters, Shirley Hardison of Las Vegas and Doris Jackson of Tallulah; and 22 grandchildren.
American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, handled arrangements.
Henry Hansford
Henry Hansford, 79, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. A Postal Service employee, he was born Feb. 20, 1924, in England.
He is survived by one son, John Hansford of Wiltshire County, England.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in England. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Raymond B. Hess
Raymond B. Hess, 63, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 17, 1940, in Phillipsburg, Pa. A resident for 44 years, he was a retired firefighter, an Air Force veteran and a steward of Teamsters Local 631.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia; two sons, Danny D. Hess and Charles E. Hess, and one daughter, Felicia A. Andreu, all of Las Vegas; three brothers, Merril Hess of Niagara Falls, N.Y., William Hess of San Diego and John D. Hess of Las Vegas; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. today and 9 a.m. until a 3 p.m. service Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.
The family suggests donations to associations affiliated with firefighter and/or police officer charities.
LaVona Ingram
LaVona Ingram, 85, of Henderson died Tuesday in Henderson. A retired homemaker, she was born Aug. 18, 1918, in Milford, Utah.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Ingram, and one son, Eugene Ingram.
She is survived by two sons, Robert L. Ingram of Las Vegas and Wayne Ingram of Henderson; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 12:30 p.m. Saturday in Woodlawn Cemetery. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
Mary A. Jacobs
Mary A. Jacobs, 66, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 21, 1937, in Mobile, Ala. A resident for five years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, L.D.; two sons, Frank Jacobs of Greys Lake, Ill., and Mark Jacobs of Las Vegas; three daughters, Saretha Kaitschuck of Las Vegas, Geneva Jacobs of Freeport, Ill., and Danathe Osborne of London, Ky.; 18 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 3 p.m. until a 5:30 p.m. service Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
The family suggests donations to St. Jude Research Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
Garland 'Mike' Kring
Garland "Mike" Kring, 58, of Las Vegas died Jan. 24 in Las Vegas. A warehouseman, he was born June 6, 1945, in Arkansas Pass, Texas.
He is survived by one son, Clayton Kring; and one brother, Gerald Kring of Henderson.

Murlen E. Lambert
Murlen E. Lambert, 55, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 13, 1948, in California. A resident for 20 years, he was a mechanic.
He is survived by his fiancee, Doreen Carpenter; three sons, Stanley Lambert, Christopher Lambert and Justin Lambert; one daughter, Vanessa Smith; three stepsons, Keith Carpenter, Scott Carpenter and Jason Walker; and seven grandchildren.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Choice Hills Baptist Church, 240 S. Cholla St., Henderson. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
John E. Long
John E. Long, 79, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 23, 1924, in West Virginia. A resident for 16 years, he was a retired truck driver, an Army veteran and a member of Bad Boys Bowling League.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia; one son, Roger; two sisters, Garnet and Mary; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling private arrangements.
Louis David Mock
Louis David Mock, 66, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. He was born June 26, 1938, in Anderson, Ind. A resident for 30 years, he was a mortgage banker, an Air Force veteran and a member and past president of the Mortgage Banker's Association.
He is survived by one brother, Larry Mock.

Pearl Payne
Pearl Payne, 84, of North Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 30, 1919, in Camden, Ark. A resident for 57 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one sister, Everlean Terry, and one brother, Hollis Brown, both of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 1 p.m. Monday in Palm Chapel, Main. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.
Teddy Reiss
Teddy Reiss, 87, of Henderson died Monday in a local hospice. He was born Dec. 23, 1916, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 31 years, he was a textile salesman and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Geraldine; one daughter, Judith Fields of Henderson; one son, Peter Reiss of Kensington, Md.; one brother, Charles Reiss of Tucson; and two grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 11:20 a.m. March 8 in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.
O.W. Simmons Sr.
O.W. Simmons Sr., 81, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 30, 1922, in Wilmar, Ark. A resident for 24 years, he was a retired factory assembly line worker and a World War II Navy veteran.
He is survived by one daughter, Jacqueline Clay of Las Vegas; one son, O.W. Simmons Jr. of Detroit; one sister, Alpha Brooks of Kansas City, Kan.; one brother, Floyd Simmons of Chicago; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 5-8 p.m. today in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in American Burial and Cremation Services. Burial will follow in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
James J. 'Sonny' Turner Sr.
James J. "Sonny" Turner Sr., 60, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born July 22, 1943, in St. Josepth, La. A laborer in the construction industry, he was a member of Local 872 and Sly Fox.
He is survived by his wife, Katherine M.; three sons, Ronnie J. McKinsey Sr. of Reno and James J. Turner Jr., and Ronnie McKinsey Jr., both of Las Vegas; three daughters, Mary Anne Uhlman of California and Shawnecey Uhlman and Amber R. Turner, both of Las Vegas; three brothers, Joe Turner and Walter Turner, both of Las Vegas, and Ezart C. Turner of California; six sisters, Pearlie Carr and Marie Williams, both of North Las Vegas, and Cena Mae Pollard, Minnie Turner, Carrie Lee Turner and Berthia Lee Turner, all of California; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 2-6 p.m. Sunday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will 11 a.m. Monday in New Light Missionary Baptist Church, 1165 Lawry Ave. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.
