Norma L. Adams
Norma L. Adams, 58, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. She was born April 7, 1945, in the Philippines. A resident for 30 years, she was a blackjack dealer.
She is survived by one daughter, Tanya Blackbourne of Steamboat Springs, Colo.; and one grandchild.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Charles J. Andrada
Charles J. Andrada, 92, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born April 4, 1911, in Woodhaven, N.Y. A resident for 16 years, he was a retired owner of an engineering firm.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine; one son, John; and one sister, Dorothy Wardell.
He is survived by one son, Chris Andrada; one nephew, Tom Trippe.
Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m.-noon Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Blvd. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.
Donald J. Bell
Donald J. Bell, 71, of Las Vegas died Feb. 7 in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 12, 1933, in Chicago. A resident for 25 years, he was an attorney.
He is survived by his companion, Rosemary Swartz of Las Vegas; four sisters, Nancy Jakovac and Mary Judith Daley, both of Las Vegas, Susanne Willard of Louisville, Ky., and Antoinette Marie Graham of Littleton, Colo.; and one brother, Michael Bell of Yucaipa, Calif.
A memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista Drive. Graveside services will follow at 12:40 p.m. Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Richard Allen Bennett
Richard Allen Bennett, 69, of Henderson died Friday in Henderson. He was born Feb. 6, 1935. He worked in avionics.
He is survived by his wife, Dora; three sons, Archie Bennett, Richard Bennett and Tyrone Bennett; and one daughter, Ruby Cole.

Betty Jean Brandwynne-Berman
Betty Jean Brandwynne-Berman, 69, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 20, 1934, in Sioux Falls, S.D. A resident for 50 years, she was a retired saleswoman, actress and singer.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph W.; three daughters, Alexandria Briare of Northridge, Calif., Heather Brandwynne of Las Vegas and Bari Winchester of Encino, Calif.; two stepdaughters, Marcia Brandwynne of Studio City, Calif., and Lois Brandwynne-Valfer of Berkeley, Calif.; and eight grandchildren.
Services will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Diencia Brown
Diencia Brown, 39, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 10, 1965, in Dayton, Ohio. A resident for six months, she was a retail saleswoman.
She is survived by one son, Zachary Watkins, and two daughters, Denita Brown and Diencia Brown, all of Ohio; her mother, Willa Brown of Las Vegas; her father, Kenneth Pinkard, and two brothers Roderick Brown and Ronald Brown, all of Ohio; three sisters, Tetrilla Stewart of Ohio and Regina Mays and Donilla Brown, both of Michigan; and her grandmother, Sarah Armstrong of Las Vegas.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in American Burial and Cremation Services. A private burial will follow.
Wayne DeSchambeau
Wayne DeSchambeau, 61, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born June 21, 1942, in Cleveland. A resident for six years, he was a retired music store owner.
He is survived by his wife, Cathy; one daughter, Darcel Renee DeSchambeau of Las Vegas; two sons, Curtis DeSchambeau and Rodney DeSchambeau, both of Franklin, Pa.; and six grandchildren.

Flossie May Francis Elliott, 72, of Las Vegas died Friday in Henderson. She was born Sept. 1, 1931, in Tallulah, La. A resident for 38 years, she was a hotel cashier.
She is survived by three daughters, Vera Elliott and Vickie Elliott, both of Las Vegas, and Yvonne Elliott-Mason of North Las Vegas; six sons, Joshua D. Elliott Jr., Kenneth Elliott and Larry Elliott, all of Las Vegas, and Kenneth Elliott, Rodney Elliott and Derrick Elliott, all of North Las Vegas; three brothers, Ernest Francis of Las Vegas and Alex Francis and Leon Francis, both of Tallulah; two sisters, Shirley Hardison of Las Vegas and Doris Jackson of Tallulah; and 22 grandchildren.

Lyle Lamont Goheen
Lyle Lamont Goheen, 77, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 11, 1926, in Midland, Mich. A resident for 11 1/2 years, he was a retired 30-year Navy and Marine Corps veteran, a member of the Fleet Reserve Association and Disabled Veterans of America.
He is survived by his wife Geraldine "Gerry;" two daughters, Lucia Goheen of Azalea, Ore., and Janine Conley of Las Vegas; two sons, Steven Goheen of Azalea and John Conley of Las Vegas; two sisters, Marilyn Emans of Dublin, Ga., and Bonnie Robinson of Michigan; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Peter P. Hanley
Peter P. Hanley, 89, of Las Vegas died Feb. 9, 2004, in a local hospital. He was born June 26, 1914, in Chicago. A resident for 28 years, he was a retired route sales truck driver.
He is survived by one son, John Hanley; one daughter, Patricia Badillo; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Rosemary Elaine Hart, 63, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 7, 1940, in McCook, Neb. A resident for six years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Roxanne Sweetland, and two sons, Craig Evans and Kirk Evans, all of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.

William S. Hunter
William S. Hunter, 72, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 4, 1931, in Craigsville, Va. A resident for 52 years, he was a retired hotel painter, a Korean War Air Force veteran, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, National Rifle Association and Painters Local 159.
He is survived by three daughters, Judy Kutsmeda and Sallee Warren, both of Las Vegas, and Debbie Hull of Lainesburg, Mich.; one son, William Hunter Jr. of Phoenix; two sisters, Lucinda Meeks of Staunton, Va., and Susie McDowell of Perrysburg, Ohio; two brothers, Jack Hunter of Fairfax, Va., and Harry Hunter of Staunton, Va.; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Palm Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Fred S. Iwami, 83, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 3, 1921, in San Gabriel, Calif. A resident for six years, he was a government chemist and an Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Jean; four sons, Steve of Seattle, William and Russell, both of Illinois, and Gene of Washington; two sisters, Ruth Iwami and Rosemary Shieh, both of Illinois; and four grandchildren.

Curtis J. Johnston
Curtis J. Johnston, 78, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 13, 1925, in Commerce, Texas. A resident for 38 years, he was a retired automotive mechanic and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Jean; one sister, Fannie Johnston Weihman of Lewisville, Texas; one brother, Chuck Johnston of Kempner, Texas; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Lee Leskody, 76, of Las Vegas died Feb. 9 in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 20, 1927, in Detroit. A resident for 41 years, she was a retired gaming administrator.
She is survived by one daughter, Debbie Leskody of Las Vegas; one brother, Jerry Randazzo of California; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Curtis McAnally
Curtis McAnally, 82, of Henderson died Sunday in Henderson. He was born Sept. 7, 1921, in Hollywood, Miss. A resident for 41 years, he was a machinist for an automobile company and a World War II Army Air Corps veteran.
He is survived by three daughters, Tari Kay Petersen of Las Vegas and Zina McAnally and Carol Jean Porter, both of Henderson; one son, William McAnally of Tacoma, Wash.; 16 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 5-8 p.m. Wednesday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in the LDS chapel, 303 Cholla St., Henderson. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
Robert Francis Newman
Robert Francis Newman, 77, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born June 8, 1926, in Pennsylvania. A resident for 22 years, he was a food and beverage director, an Army Air Corps veteran, a member of the American Legion and the Moose.
He is survived by two sons, Robert Newman and Jeffrey Newman; and two brothers, Jack Newman and Tom Newman.

Nayef 'Tony' Shahin
Nayef "Tony" Shahin, 65, of Henderson died Sunday in Henderson. He was born Oct. 9, 1938, in Damascus, Syria. A resident for 13 years, he was a retired automotive mechanic.
He is survived by his wife, Salwa; two sons, Michael Shahin of Simi Valley, Calif., and Mounir Shahin of Henderson; and four grandchildren.
Services will be noon Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.

Georgia M. Stetts, 72, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born March 23, 1931, in Canfield, Ohio. A resident for 40 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Michael H. Jr.; three sons, Michael Stetts of Las Vegas, Mark Stetts of Spring Lake, Mich., and Chuck Stetts of Henderson; two daughters, Susan Chaco of Glendale, Ariz., and Sally Hayek of Henderson; one sister, Norma Ponzianna of Barstow, Calif.; and nine grandchildren.
