Two painters
Painters Zinda Hogue and Rick Metzler's works will be displayed from Sunday to May 15 at the Southern Nevada Museum of Fine Art, 1000 E. Sahara Ave., Suite 1. A reception will be held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at the museum. Admission is free. 240-2777.

Monet exhibit

Artist reception
Artist Clayton Campbell has work displayed in both the Judy Bayley Theatre and Artemus W. Ham Hall lobbies. The Judy Bayley Theatre display is permanent, and the Artemus Ham Hall display continues until the end of March. Admission is free. 895-1575.

Juried show
The Contemporary Arts Collective is issuing a "call for work" from artists 18 and older to participate in its 15th annual juried show. Artists are requested to drop off their works on Wednesday and Thursday during gallery hours. There will also be a drop-off from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday. The opening reception for the exhibits will be 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. March 7, and the award ceremony will be held at 8 p.m. 382-3886.
'Vegas Unplugged'
Artists are being invited to submit proposals for an outdoor art in public places project utilizing the light bulbs from the Fremont Street Experience light canopy in a competition entitled "Vegas Unplugged." The deadline is March 31, and a $5,000 grand prize will be awarded to implement the project for display in Las Vegas. The completed project is expected to debut in spring 2004.
