Former Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev's Las Vegas appearance has been moved up a day because of a scheduling conflict.
Gorbachev, who will appear with former U.S. President George H.W. Bush on behalf of the Las Vegas-based Russian Heritage Highway Foundation, also will speak at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas' Marjorie Barrick Lecture Series on March 22 at 7:30 p.m.
The Russian Heritage Highway Foundation was founded by Tom Tait, a former executive director of the Nevada Commission on Tourism, and the organization's board of directors includes former Nevada Gov. Bob Miller.
The foundation is marketing a 700-kilometer Russian highway that has historical connections with dozens of Russian cultural giants.
