10 a.m. Tuesday -- "People Can Fly," an adventure told through spoken word, song and dance, Summerlin Library, 1771 Inner Circle Drive.

4 p.m. Wednesday -- "People Can Fly," Las Vegas Library, 833 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Bilingual reading

Bei Dao, China's foremost contemporary poet, and Er Tai Gao, a Chinese writer, painter and critic will give a bilingual reading at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Barrick Museum Auditorium on the UNLV campus. Admission is free. 895-0505.
