A 19-year-old Las Vegas man is wanted on misdemeanor charges in connection with providing alcohol to a 16-year-old Henderson boy who later drove a car into a wall, killing three other teens, Henderson Police said.
Earlier this week Henderson Justice Court issued a misdemeanor warrant for Pierre Goujon. Henderson Police say the man bought alcohol from an East Flamingo Road convenience store and gave it to the teen driver prior to the Nov. 10 automobile accident.
Goujon remained at large today, police said.
Henderson Police Officer Shane Lewis said the warrant alleges that alcohol was furnished to minors and that Goujon, who also is under the legal age of 21 to purchase alcohol in Nevada, used false identification papers.
The 16-year-old was driving about 80 mph on a Henderson residential street when he crashed into a brick wall, killing 15-year-old passengers Travis Dunning, Josh Parry and Kyle Poff, police said. The driver, whose blood-alcohol level, police say, was 0.19, is charged with involuntary manslaughter, felony driving under the influence and felony reckless driving in each of the deaths.
It has not yet been determined whether the teen will be tried as a juvenile or as an adult.
