North Las Vegas Police arrested a 21-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy Tuesday after a standoff following a robbery near Carey Avenue and North Las Vegas Boulevard.
Officers were dispatched to the 2500 block of Ellis Street, where a woman was robbed at gunpoint. She told police she knew where one of the suspects lived and led them to the 3700 block of East Cartier Avenue, Soledad Garcia Carillo, police spokeswoman, said.
One man was seen leaving the area in a car and the other barricaded himself in the house. When the department's SWAT team approached the house in their armored vehicle, the man surrendered.
Jesus Monarrez, 21, and the 15-year-old were both booked on robbery charges.
