Use-of-force board applications accepted

Metro Police are accepting applications through March 31 from citizens interested in serving on Metro's use-of-force board.
Qualified applicants must live within Metro's jurisdiction and may not be personally affiliated with the department or related to any of its members.
The board is made up of four citizens and three law enforcement officers who are chosen randomly from a pool.
The board typically meets once a month from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. All board members will receive six hours of training. Board members serve for a two-year term which can be renewed once.
