James A. Davis
James A. Davis, 91, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local health care center. A retired saw mill dry kiln operator, he was born June 1, 1912, in Quitman, Miss.
He is survived by his wife, Velma; two sons, Walter Lee Davis and Henry Lee Davis, and one daughter, Earlene Ventura-Davila, all of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Chapel, Main. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
Daniel M. Despain
Daniel M. Despain, 52, of Las Vegas died Wednesday. A handyman for real property, he was born May 3, 1951, in Tulare, Calif.
He is survived by his wife, Marsha; three sons, Bryan Thompson and Cary Thompson, both of Tracy, Calif., and Derrick Despain of Tulare; one daughter, Kristi Despain of Las Vegas; one brother, Leonard Despain of Porterville, Calif.; one sister, Gail Brumm of Pixley, Calif.; and six grandchildren.

Lucas Green
Lucas Green, 88, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born June 19, 1915, in Orlando, Fla. A resident for six years, he was a meat cutter and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by two daughters, Jackie Johnson of Las Vegas and Carolyn Eden of Apple Valley, Calif.; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling private arrangements.
Randi Worth Hicks
Randi Worth Hicks, 45, of Henderson died Friday in a local hospital. She was born May 15, 1958, in Cleveland. A resident for 20 years, she was a sales marketing director for a time share company and a member of the time share organization ARDA.
She is survived by her husband, John; her mother, Lois Sosna of Lyndhurst, Ohio; one sister, Robyn Weiss of Beachwood, Ohio; and two brothers, Ronald Worth and Richard Worth, both of Henderson.
Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane, is handling arrangements.
Brian Hunsaker
Brian Hunsaker, 69, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 11, 1934, in Utah. A resident for 33 years, he was a truck driver.
He is survived by one son, Blake of California; one daughter, Briane, and one brother, Darwin, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Penny Anderson of Oklahoma; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Charles "Clissen" Keslar, 68, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 26, 1935, in Connellsville, Pa. A resident for seven years, he was a retired bakery shop owner-operator.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Lee; two daughters, Nicole Larson of Henderson and Vicki Williams of Pittsburgh; two sons, Jeffrey Keslar and Shawn Keslar, both of Columbus, Ohio; one brother, Richard Keslar of Ligonier, Pa.; one sister, Nancy Comisak of Greensburg, Pa.; and six grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-6 p.m. Wednesday in St. Gabriel, the Arch Angel Church, Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Donald E. 'Corky' McCormick
Donald E. "Corky" McCormick, 70, of North Las Vegas died Wednesday in North Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 15, 1933, in Alamosa, Colo. A resident for seven years, he was a retired tool and dye foreman and a Korean War Marine Corps veteran.
He is survived by two sons, Donald E. "Corky" McCormick Jr. and Kelly L. McCormick, both of Roseburg, Ore.; two daughters, Sheri Burke of Port Angeles, Wash., and Lenora Aitchison of Keaau, Hawaii; and 12 grandchildren.

Brad Morris, 69, of Henderson died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born April 28, 1934, in Detroit. A resident for seven years, he was a retired automotive designer and a Korean War Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Lillian; one daughter, Pamela Campeau of Henderson; one stepdaughter, Jaqueline DiNatale of New Jersey; one stepson, Terrance Dodd of Michigan; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Mary Ellen Mortensen, 81, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 2, 1923, in Chillicothe, Mo. A resident for 38 years, she was a homemaker and a World War II Army Air Corps veteran.
She is survived by her husband, Jay M.; two daughters, Sharon Thomas and Karen Allred, and one son, Terry Mortensen, all of Las Vegas; one sister, Kathleen Hade of Salmon, Idaho; one brother, Jack Jenkins of Las Cruces, N.M.; and three grandchildren.

Simmons
Carmencita Simmons, 63, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospice. She was born May 21, 1940, in the Philippines. A resident for six years, she was a retired accountant.
She is survived by her husband, Robert; three sons, Owen Simmons and Ohmar Villavicencio, both of Henderson and Ovette Villavicencio of Tucson; her parents, Florencio and Carmen Favila, and two brothers, Freddie Favila and Amado Favila, all of the Philippines; four sisters, Abcedita Alloso and Maria Elena Yulo, both of the Philippines, Adel Villanueva of Las Vegas and Evelyn Imperial of Chicago.
Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.
The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Charles H. Turley III
Charles H. Turley III, 46, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 27, 1957, in Oklahoma City. A resident for 12 years, he was a casino bartender and slot technician who worked at the New Frontier for about a year and previously worked at the Wild Fire and the Horseshoe.
He is survived by his parents, Connie and Charles H. Turley Jr., one sister, Mary Ann Scott, and his companion, Rene Black, all of Las Vegas.

Bernadine T. Vereb
Bernadine T. Vereb, 83, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 13, 1920, in Ensly, Ala. A resident for nine years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Eugene F.; three daughters, Maryann Johnson of Las Vegas, Jean Wax of Northridge, Calif., and Susan Vereb of Studio City, Calif.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 9 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph, Husband of Mary Catholic Church, 7260 W. Sahara Ave. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to Paralyzed Veterans of America.
