Two exhibitions
The Las Vegas Art Museum, 9600 W. Sahara Ave., presents two concurrent exhibitions, "Fernando Botero Posters: The Evolution of a Master," and "Latin American Art NOW!," beginning Saturday. Artist reception

'Unplugged'
Artists are being invited to submit proposals for an outdoor art in public places project utilizing the light bulbs from the Fremont Street Experience light canopy in a competition entitled "Vegas Unplugged." The deadline is March 31, and a $5,000 grand prize will be awarded to implement the project for display in Las Vegas. The completed project is expected to debut in spring 2004.
