Currently: White recently signed a letter of intent to continue his college football career at Minnesota State-Mankato, a Division II program. White spent the past two seasons at Feather River Community College in Quincy, Calif. He earned first-team all-conference honors in 2003 and majored in business in the classroom. White joins fellow Las Vegan Kevin Adams (Rancho) in moving from Feather River to Minnesota State-Mankato this year.
Looking back: White earned Sun Offensive Player of the Year honors for his outstanding 2001 season. The speedy tailback paced Las Vegas to its first 4A state championship since 1959. White rushed for 2,949 yards on 371 attempts and compiled 48 touchdowns. On the season, he totaled 51 touchdowns overall to set a new Nevada state record. He also set a state record for career scores with 78.
