Carpal tunnel workshop planned
The Henderson Multi-Generational Center will host a wrist pain and carpal tunnel syndrome workshop from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the center, 450 Green Valley Parkway.
In addition, the workshop will reveal a little-known cause of CTS and wrist and hand pain.
Speakers will be Drs. Olivia Purdic and Ford Franklin of Henderson, who were involved with the respite efforts at ground zero after the Sept. 11 attacks.

Lecture scheduled on kids' ADHD
Southern Nevada Adult Mental Health Services is offering a free lecture, "The Development of Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder in infants and Children," from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the West Charleston Library, 6301 W. Charleston Blvd.
The lecture will be presented by C. Phillip Colisimo, who will offer a history of the nature and symptoms of attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder.

Heidi Harris of KXNT 840-AM will speak to the Korean American Women's Association at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Jong-Ga restaurant in Commercial Center.

The Henderson Women in Business
group is collecting warm winter clothing such as coats, sweaters, mittens, blankets and other items to donate to those in need. Any serviceable items may be dropped off at Black Mountain Chiropractic, 2200 W. Horizon Ridge. The drive ends Thursday. Call 614-7800.
Dale Erquiaga, chairman of the Las Vegas Centennial
Celebration, will be speaking at the Nevada Arts Advocates' luncheon at noon Tuesday in the Conference Center at the Stardust.
