CARSON CITY -- Gov. Kenny Guinn Tuesday named nine people to state boards and commissions, including Leo Basch of Las Vegas to the state Board of Pharmacy.
Basch replaces Marcella Ranick, also of Las Vegas.
The governor named Tom Jenkins of Las Vegas to the Bicycle Advisory Board. That position has been vacant for a long time, a spokeswoman in the office said.
Guinn appointed lobbyist Greg Ferraro of Reno to the state Commission on Judicial Discipline, succeeding Frank Brusco, also of Reno.
Other appointments were Tom Clewell of Sparks to the Homeland Security Commission; Dr. Cindy Lamerson of Reno to the Board of Medical Examiners, and Toni Richard of Sparks to the Mental Health and Development Services Commission.
Also appointed were Curry Jameson of Reno to the Real Estate Commission, Calvin Dillon of Silver City to the Comstock Historic District Commission and David Stefan of Sparks to the Real Estate Appraisers Commission.
