BOSTON RED SOX-Acquired OF Jay Payton, INF Ramon Vazquez, RHP David Pauley and cash from San Diego for OF Dave Roberts.
CLEVELAND INDIANS-Agreed to terms with 2B Ronnie Belliard on a one-year contract.
DETROIT TIGERS-Agreed to terms with OF Alex Sanchez and C Brandon Inge on one-year contracts.
MINNESOTA TWINS-Agreed to terms with OF Jacque Jones, DH Matthew LeCroy, 2B Luis Rivas, RHP Matt Guerrier and OF Michael Ryan on one-year contracts.
