Women can get free medical exams
Planned Parenthood of Southern Nevada is providing free annual exams, which include clinical breast exams and Pap tests to women under 40 who are uninsured and not covered by other programs (Spanish-speaking staff are available).
If further testing or treatment is necessary, our staff may provide referrals. Planned Parenthood is offering the free exams with support from the Nevada Trust Fund for Public Health. The free exam program will expire in June.
PPSN main health center is located at 3220 W. Charleston Blvd. Call 878-7776 for more information or visit www.pprm.org.
The community can make a child's holiday brighter
by bringing a new, unwrapped gift to the Orleans today and Wednesday for the New Kid on the Block Holiday Arts, Craft and Gifts Show. Toys will go to children at Safe Nest and Gibson Middle School. Show hours are 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Call Shelly McCarty at 358-6006.
