Mildred A. Allen
Mildred A. Allen, 73, of Henderson died Friday in a local hospital. She was born March 27, 1931, in England, Ark. A resident for five years, she was a retired electronics assembler.
She is survived by her husband, William; four daughters, Linda Allen and Penny Kaul, both of Henderson, Deborah Patrick of Oxnard, Calif., and Barbara Hoffman of Colorado Springs, Colo.; one son, Danny Luker of Bismarck, Ark.; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Henderson. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.
Emmett Bo Anderson
Emmett Bo Anderson, 83, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 25, 1919, in Tallulah, La. A resident for 44 years, he was a construction worker, a World War II Army veteran and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He is survived by his wife, Annie Mae; one daughter, Clara Anderson of Michigan; one son, Emmett Anderson Jr., and one stepdaughter, Shirley Washington, both of Las Vegas; five stepsons, Joe Charles Washington, Billy Ray Washington, and Jarvis Washington, all of Las Vegas, Larry Washington of Buffalo, N.Y., and Johnny Washington Jackson of Alaska; 32 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled noon-6 p.m. Tuesday in Thomas and Jones Funeral Home, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in New Revelation Missionary Baptist Church, 615 W. Van Buren Ave. Graveside services will be in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Richard Willis 'Bob' Bobo Jr.
Richard Willis "Bob" Bobo Jr., 73, of Oklahoma died Wednesday. He was born June 2, 1931, in Brookfield, Ohio. A former Las Vegas resident, he was a country singer and owned a recording company.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn.
A memorial service will be Dec. 30 in Oklahoma. Reed-Culver Funeral Home, Tahlequah, Okla., is handling arrangements.
Henry B. Dahlstrom
Henry B. Dahlstrom, 77, of Goldfield died Dec. 11 in Las Vegas. He was born April 7, 1927, in Goldfield. A lifelong resident of Nevada, he was an automobile mechanic, an Army Air Corps veteran and a member of the Elks Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Thelma; one son, Art Taylor; two daughters, Tina Tatum and Bernice Johnson; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, handled arrangements.
Frohsine S. Daniels
Frohsine S. Daniels, 91, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local health care center. She was born Dec. 13, 1913, in Alexander City, Ala. A resident for eight years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one sister, Margena Portee, and one brother, Carle Stewart, both of Las Vegas.
Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.
Peter O. Harris
Peter O. Harris, 41, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born March 22, 1963, in Los Angeles. A resident for 18 years, he was disabled.
He is survived by his wife, Dawn; three daughters, Tiara Harris of Las Vegas and Patrice Harris and Ashly Harris, both of Los Angeles; two sons, Trequis Harris and Trequan Harris, both of Las Vegas; his parents, Mary Ann and Nathaniel Harris of Gardena, Calif.; three sisters, Kim Harris of Las Vegas, Natalie Harris of San Diego and Mary Elizabeth Pitchford of Carson, Calif.; and one brother, Nathaniel Harris of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m. until a 2 p.m. service Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.
Mark E. Holyoke
Mark E. Holyoke, 72, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born July 18, 1932, in Cincinnati. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired glazier and a Korean War Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Shelby J.; four daughters, Billie Addeo, Tonya Holyoke and Pilar DuPuis, all of Las Vegas and Sonya Sutton of Chino Hills, Calif.; two sons, William Holyoke and Roland Holyoke, both of Las Vegas; 14 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Eastern.
Gale B. Horton
Gale B. Horton, 81, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 22, 1923, in Sesser, Ill. A resident for many years, he was a parks maintenance supervisor for the city of North Las Vegas.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Marjory; one son, Norman Horton of Las Vegas; two daughters, Diane Tangren of Moab, Utah, and Kathy Robb of Las Vegas; one brother, Arnold Horton of Moab; one sister, Avona Holybee of Norwood, Colo.; 10 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Bunkers Chapel. Entombment will follow in Eden Vale Mausoleum.

Leila Mae King
Leila Mae King, 79, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 28, 1925, in Clayton, La. A resident for 54 years, she was a retired hotel-casino supervisor.
She is survived by two daughters, Verdia King Turner of North Las Vegas and Jacqueline King Alston of Las Vegas; one son, Adrain King of Las Vegas; one stepdaughter, Francine Redden of North Las Vegas; two sisters, Emma Long of Los Angeles and Louise Gaines of Kenner, La.; two brothers, Henry Williams Jr. of Los Angeles and Woodrow Wilson Williams of Detroit; 14 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Second Baptist Church, 500 W. Madison Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.
John W. McDermott
John W. McDermott, 76, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 21, 1928, in St. Paul, Minn. A resident for 30 years, he was a retired automobile mechanic, a Korean War Army veteran and a foster parent for 49 years.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda; four daughters, Mary Johnson of Maple Grove, Minn., and Rose Huff-Pruitt, Shannon Kenslow and Kelly McDermott, all of Las Vegas; four sons, Thomas McDermott, John P. McDermott and Seon McDermott, all of Las Vegas and Jerry McDermott of White Bear Lake, Minn.; one sister, Natalie Eklund of Bloomington, Minn.; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Winifred I. Meehan
Winifred I. Meehan, 83, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 26, 1921, in Tuscola, Ill. A resident for 13 years, she was a retired production controller and a member of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her husband, Herbert; and six grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 3 p.m. service Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.
Raymond Merchant
Raymond Merchant, 74, of Las Vegas died Dec. 12 in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 10, 1930, in Jackson, Neb. A resident for 25 years, he was a retired electrician for an automobile manufacturer, a Navy veteran, a member of United Auto Workers and International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, a volunteer for the Lions Club and Society for the Deaf.
He is survived by one daughter, Teresa Daniel, and one stepson, Ron Daniel, both of Las Vegas; one stepdaughter, Lee Lossard of Pahrump; two brothers, Tim Merchant and Leo Merchant, both of Nebraska; and one great-granddaughter.
No local services were scheduled. Services and burial were in Nebraska. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., handled arrangements.
Virgil C. Richardson
Virgil C. Richardson, 69, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospice. He was born Oct. 29, 1935, in Ralston, Okla. A resident for four years, he was a retired office manager and Vietnam War Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Grizelda; four daughters, Mary Margaret Bacor of Big Spring, Texas, Jennifer Gooden of Bryan, Texas, Vivian Hermantas of Houston and Elizabeth Richardson of Las Vegas; one son, Virgil Richardson Jr. of Las Vegas; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Burial will be in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Adolph "Wally" Seedig, 72, of Henderson died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 26, 1932, in Mill Creek, Okla. A resident for 39 years, he was a retired loan officer in the financial industry and a Korean War Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine; three sons, Tyrone Seedig of Las Vegas, Timothy Seedig of Alabama and Troy Seedig of St. Louis; four stepsons, Troy Johnson of Boulder City, Wayne Beck of Rierie, Idaho, Greg Beck of Las Vegas and William Lorr of Toronto; one stepdaughter, Tina Marie Anese of Toronto; one brother, Troy Seedig of Ardmore, Okla.; and 10 grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 3 p.m. service Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.
Eugene Eliot Tunison
Eugene Eliot Tunison, 47, of Las Vegas died Thursday. He was born Dec. 24, 1955, in New Orleans. A resident for two years, he was a customer service agent for a commercial airline.
He is survived by his wife, Caryl L.; two sons, Eliot D. Tunison and Ian M. Tunison, both of Las Vegas; his mother, Patricia R. Tunison of Gulf Breeze, Fla.; and one sister, Annamarie Crofoot of Copley, Ohio.
Visitation is scheduled noon until a 2 p.m. service Wednesday in Shadow Hills Baptist Church, 7811 Vegas Drive. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.
Rose L. Valenti
Rose L. Valenti, 83, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born July 15, 1921, in Niagara Falls, N.Y. A resident for 44 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by three sons, John Valenti and Anthony Valenti, both of Henderson and Philip Valenti of Oceanside, Calif.; one daughter, Linda Montoya of Carlsbad, Calif.; one sister, Marie Lazaroff of Las Vegas; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be noon Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
