Because of an error by the Sun, a story in Thursday's Business section incorrectly reported the votes of two members of the Legislative Commission. Sen. Valerie Wiener, D-Las Vegas, voted for the proposed regulation that would have required mortgage brokers to have signs outside their businesses. Assemblyman Chad Christensen, R-Las Vegas, voted with the majority against the regulation. The Sun regrets the error.

* Because of an error by the Sun, the Las Vegas Monorail's earnings before its Sept. 8 closure was incorrectly reported in Thursday's editions. The system earned $4 million in 48 days of normal operation. The Sun regrets the error.
