Man arrested for allegedly stealing pull-tab tickets

INDEPENDENCE, Iowa -- A man has been arrested for allegedly stealing $25,000 in pull-tab lottery tickets.
Adam Kresser, 23, of Independence, was arrested Tuesday and charged with first-degree theft.
Police said the tickets were stolen from an Independence convenience store over about a one-year period.
If convicted, Kresser faces up to 10 years in prison and a maximum fine of $500,000.
Iowa Lottery investigators assisted in the investigation.
