Findlay Automotive Group bought Signature Lincoln Mercury, 3030 E. Sahara Ave., for an undisclosed amount. The transaction closed at the beginning of the month, said Tyler Corder, chief financial officer for Findlay Automotive Group.

The dealership brings Findlay's local dealership total to 10. The Findlay name will be added to the Signature dealership and all 96 employees will be retained, Corder said.

Cordor said the purchase allows Findlay to offer Ford-related products, which Findlay's dealerships previously lacked.

The company plans on opening a dealership that will offer a Ford product in the Henderson Automall next summer after it moves its Findlay Cadillac Saab dealership into a new building at Gibson Road and Automall Drive, Cordor said. It will keep the Sahara location open at that time.
