Harold G. Alawine

Harold G. Alawine, 64, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 1, 1940, in Meridan, Miss. A resident for six years, he was a retired mortgage salesman and a Vietnam War Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Linda; three daughters, Angelika Varnes and Jennifer Ball, both of Las Vegas, and Patricia Tyson of Dayton, Texas; two sons, Donald Alawine of Stanton, Calif., and John Alawine of Las Vegas; his father, Jackson P. Alawine, and one sister, Nancy McGehee, both of Gig Harbor, Wash.; and 11 grandchildren.

Ronald G. Barron

Ronald G. Barron, 64, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 7, 1940, in Pennsylvania. A resident for 18 years, he was an attorney, a judge, an Air Force veteran and a member of AA.

He is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth and Samantha; one brother, Melvin Goldstein; and one sister, Susan Alpert.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Sunday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

The family suggests donations to the Filipino Bisayan Society.

Rose Bernstein

Rose Bernstein, 76, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 2, 1928, in Chicago. A resident for 11 years, she was a retired beautician.

She is survived by her husband, Louis; two sons, Jeff Bernstein of Las Vegas and Mark Bernstein of Chicago; and four grandchildren.

A memorial service was scheduled at 1 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Forrest Dale Bradley

Forrest Dale Bradley, 74, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 12, 1930, in St. Louis. A resident for 40 years, he was a truck driver, a Korean War Marine Corps veteran, a member of the Marine Corps League, National Mustang Association and Southern Nevada Bluegrass Music Association.

He was preceded in death by one son, Richard Ralph Bradley.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Dana; five daughters, Candice Adams Fischer, Carolee Adams Nelson, Holly Riechman and Stacy Adams Remer, all of Las Vegas, and Lisa Janine Bradley; one sister, Phyllis Binion of Las Vegas; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Bunkers Chapel. Burial will follow in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Lucille Coleman

Lucille Coleman, 78, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born April 22, 1926, in Drew, Miss. A resident for 35 years, she was a hotel housekeeper.

She is survived by six daughters, Janie R. Coleman and Bonita Coleman, both of North Las Vegas, and Carolyn Watson, Bridgett D. Gatson, Lucillie A. Coleman and Daryl G. Coleman, all of Las Vegas; five sons, Albert J. Coleman, James C. Coleman, Gregory S. Coleman, Stanley T. Coleman and Stanley T. Coleman Jr., and one brother, Curtis Coleman, all of Las Vegas; 15 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 1-7 p.m. Friday in Thomas and Jones Funeral Home, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 1189 Hassel Ave. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Ronald Goldstein, 69, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 12, 1934, in New York City. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired ad specialty salesman and an Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Harriet; two daughters, Lori Smilovitz of Pleasanton, Calif., and Lynn Gendein of Stevenson Ranch, Calif.; one son, Neal Goldstein of Pleasanton, Calif.; one stepson,David Reitman of Los Angeles; one brother, Paul Goldstein of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.; and seven grandchildren.

Graveside services were scheduled at 10:40 a.m. today in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., handled arrangements.

Sherril A. Howard

Sherril A. Howard, 55, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 13, 1948, in Mitchell, S.D. A resident for six years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Randy; one son, Jacob Howard of San Francisco; two daughters, Sara Walker of Portland, Ore., and K.C. Howard of Las Vegas; four sisters, Karen Polusny, Peggy Gustavson, Christine Kuklok and Kim Loija; and three brothers, Jack Loija, Greg Loija and David Loija.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Damita L. Inghram

Damita L. Inghram, 72, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. She was born April 19, 1932, in Illinois. A resident for 50 years, she was a retired hair salon owner-operator.

She is survived by two sons, Rick Inghram and Doug Inghram, both of Las Vegas; two brothers; two sisters; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Rayshond M. Jones

Rayshond M. Jones, 16, of Las Vegas died Nov. 28 in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 20, 1988, in Las Vegas.

He is survived by one daughter, Paris Jones, his parents, Sheila Wiley, his father, Billy R. Jones, two brothers, Billy Jones Jr. and Antwan Jones, his grandmother, Myrtle Jones, and his grandfather, Rosevelt Holyfield, all of Las Vegas; and his great-grandmother, Vercie M. Johnson of Arkansas.

Stanley E. Kaminski, 74, of Las Vegas died Nov. 23 in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 2, 1930, in Chicago. A resident for 25 years, he was a retired transit authority dispatcher and a Korean War Army veteran.

He is survived by two daughters, Lori Mertes of Las Vegas and Cynthia Tom of Pearl City, Hawaii; one son, Brian Kaminski of Las Vegas; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

A graveside memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Marian F. Kleiber

Marian F. Kleiber, 96, of Henderson died Monday in a local hospital. A homemaker, she was born Nov. 3, 1908, in Chicago.

She is survived by one son, Otto Kleiber of Henderson.

Lisa Gaye Lane, 44, of Henderson died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 10, 1960, in Henderson. A lifelong resident, she was a PBX operator in the gaming industry and a Basic High School graduate.

She is survived by her mother, Cecile Chris Lane, and one sister, Linda S. Lane, both of Henderson; and three brothers, Albert H. Lane III of Henderson, Edward David Lane of CalNevAri, and Bradley Alan Lane of Boulder City.

Dorotha Louise Morgan

Dorotha Louise Morgan, 73, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born March 7, 1931, in Wapanucka, Okla. A resident for 52 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond B.; one son, Anthony R. Morgan of Las Vegas; six sisters, Ema Herbert of Las Vegas, Sherrill Maxberry, Brendy Moody, Barbara James and Lavern Aumann, all of Lawton, Okla., and Florene Heimer of Little Rock, Ark.; two brothers, Keith Cartwright of Lawton and Robert Cartwright of Oklahoma City; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.

Edward Eugene Mowery II

Edward Eugene Mowery II, 50, of Henderson died Sunday. He worked with drywall in the construction industry and was born Aug. 25, 1954.

He is survived by his mother, Helen Mowery of Oklahoma; three brothers, Charles Conrad of Henderson, James Mowery of Muskogee, Okla., and Joseph Mowery of Oklahoma; two sisters, Kathy Boback of Las Vegas and Gina Heath of Henderson.

Carl Radcliffe

Carl Radcliffe, 79, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 28, 1920, in Des Moines, Iowa. A resident for 12 years, he was an electronics engineer in the aerospace industry and a World War II Army Air Corps veteran.

He is survived by one son, Vince Radcliffe of Albuquerque; and one grandchild.

Roman Bernard 'R.B.' Santiago

Roman Bernard "R.B." Santiago, 16, of Las Vegas died Sunday. He was born April 23, 1988, in Hawaii. He was a student at Silverado High School and a cashier at Einstein Bagels.

He is survived by his mother, Prisca Reyes; his father, Lloyd; two sisters, Chanel Garaganza and Kendrell; and two brothers, Rusty Blake and Ron.

James Kemp Scruggs Jr.

James Kemp Scruggs Jr., 74, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born March 17, 1930, in Nashville, Tenn. A resident for four years, he was a retired Army sergeant first class and Korean War and Vietnam War veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Margie; three sons, Jimmy Anderson, Myron Scruggs and Jeylun E. Scruggs; two daughters, Anyon Scruggs and Janielle C. Scruggs; and one sister, Jewell Young of Cleveland.

William A. Skagerberg

William A. Skagerberg, 78, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born June 8, 1926, in Bellwood, Pa. A resident for 20 years, he was a retired aerospace engineer and a World War II Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Dee; one son, David Skagerberg, and two daughters, Paula Gritner and Nancy Riley, all of California; and one sister, Kay Spears of Tennessee.

Edna May Spillane, 90, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 10, 1914, in England. A resident for 37 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by four sons, David Teis, Ken McNulty, Richard Teis and Gary McNulty, and two daughters, Barbara Greenway and Paula Stenger, all of Las Vegas; one brother, George Miles of Florida; 21 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Sandra Lee Walker, 45, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 10, 1959, in San Bernardino, Calif. A resident for 27 years, she was a retired secretary for a sign company.

She is survived by her companion, Ronald Sells, two daughters, Monique Henderson and Lindsay Walker, one son, Michael Ischer, her parents, Linda and Mike Baker, and one sister, Carla Wallace, all of Las Vegas.

Leah Parmley Williams, 92, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 2, 1912, in Alto, Texas. A resident for 3 1/2 years, she was a former Cherokee County, Texas, treasurer and a former member of the American Red Cross.

She is survived by one nephew, Charles Larry Middleton of Houston; and two nieces, Karen Sawyer of Scroggins, Texas, and Bobbie Sue Clifton of Las Vegas.
