StumbleLetter: Rich athletes hurt society

Anyone who questions the decline in ethics, common sense and the general coarsening of the American culture should go back and read Tom Friedman's column in the Sun's Nov. 28 edition.
Among his observations were the pampered, showboating and out-of-control athletes of today. This is a problem that has annoyed me to the point that I watch few games anymore.
