The National Labor Relations Board will hold an election today to allow 12 photographers at television station KTNV Channel 13, the Las Vegas Valley's ABC affiliate, to decide whether they want to join the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 45.
IBEW Local 45 is based in Hollywood, Calif., and represents telecommunications workers. Michael Chavez, resident officer of the Las Vegas office of the NLRB, said the election will take place on the station's premises from 8 to 8:30 a.m. and from 7 to 7:30 p.m. today.
