Cheney to appear at Cashman Center

Vice President Dick Cheney will make his fifth visit to Nevada this year on Friday, when he is scheduled to speak at an afternoon rally.
The "Victory '04" rally is scheduled to start at 2:40 p.m. at the Cashman Center, 850 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Details on tickets had not been released this morning.
Cheney was in Elko for a rally at Elko High School on Aug. 14. He last visited Southern Nevada in June, when he spoke to supporters in Henderson.
