Stephen Clonan

Stephen Clonan, 45, of North Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospice. He was born Oct. 3, 1958, at Andrews Air Force Base, Md. A resident for 29 years, he was a retired truck driver.

He is survived by his parents, Barbara and Tom Clonan, his companion, Jacqueline Orr, and one brother, Scott Clonan, all of Las Vegas; and two sisters, Sandra Smith of Maui, Hawaii, and Sheila Brendel of Issaquah, Wash.

A memorial service will be 9 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

The family suggests donations to the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St., Las Vegas, NV 89119.

Ruth Oppedyk Dieleman

Ruth Oppedyk Dieleman, 96, died Wednesday. She was born March 26, 1908, in Searchlight. A former Las Vegas resident, she was a 1926 Las Vegas High School graduate, a University of Nevada, Reno graduate, taught all grades in a single-room schoolhouse in Ursine and then taught fourth and fifth grades at the Fifth Street Elementary School in Las Vegas. She and her husband established Jake's Crane & Rigging in 1946 in Las Vegas.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Jake W.

She is survived by one daughter, Kathie Dieleman Coon of New Harmony, Utah; three sons, Richard, Roger and Robert, all of Las Vegas; two sisters, Violet Tracht of Boulder City and Nelda Sledge of Laguna Hills, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be 12:30 p.m. MDT Saturday in Southern Utah Mortuary, 190 N. 300 W., Cedar City, Utah.

Warren N. Donlon Sr.

Warren N. Donlon Sr., 58, of Henderson died Wednesday in Henderson. He was born June 20, 1946, in Philadelphia. A resident for 16 years, he was a retired truck driver, a Vietnam War Army veteran and a member of Teamsters Local 631.

He is survived by his wife, Cindi; one daughter, Kelli Weldon of Levittown, Pa.; two sons, Kevin Donlon of Langhorne, Pa., and Warren N. Donlon Jr. of Las Vegas; and seven grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Monday and 10 a.m.-noon Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Graveside services will follow at 1:20 p.m. Tuesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Guy L. Farnsworth

Guy L. Farnsworth, 57, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. An electrician, he was born Nov. 21, 1946, in Illinois.

He is survived by his wife, Rose Filliard of Elmhurst, Ill.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Elmhurst. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Jeanne Hawk

Jeanne Hawk, 78, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 2, 1925, in Wellston, Ohio. A resident for nine years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Bob; four sons, Terry Rife of Gahanna, Ohio, Steve Rife and Gavin Hawk, both of Huntington Beach, Calif., and Jeff Rife of Las Vegas; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 1-5 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday in Palm Chapel, Cheyenne.

Eric Hoffman

Eric Hoffman, 48, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 24, 1956, in Chicago. A resident for 20 years, he was a slot shift supervisor.

He is survived by his wife, Cynthia; two sons, Jim Hoffman and Mike Hoffman, both of Las Vegas; his father, Clifford Hoffman of Westlake, Ohio; and one brother, Jeff Hoffman of Salmon, Idaho.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will be 3:30 p.m. Monday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Gloria Jean Lefler

Gloria Jean Lefler, 57, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital She was born Nov. 24, 1946, in LaGrange, Ga. A resident for 28 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Jerry Meyer of Las Vegas; two daughters, Tammy Heitzman of Edmonds, Wash., and Sandra Lefler of Las Vegas; four sisters, Sylvia Hebert of Las Vegas, Diane Maltman of Apple Valley, Calif., Barbara Welch of Alturas, Calif., and Geneva Clark of LaGrange; and five grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Mary E. Marsh

Mary E. Marsh, 80, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born June 19, 1924, in Greenville, Ky. A resident for four years, she was a retired bookkeeper.

She is survived by two sons, Kenneth Marsh of Michigan and James Marsh of Las Vegas; one daughter, Anne Marsh of Michigan; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Lee Michael Masangkay

Lee Michael Masangkay, 17, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 27, 1986, in Quezon City, Philippines. A resident for five years, he was a Valley High School student.

He is survived by his parents, Carmelito and Leonida Masangkay, one brother, Lyle Masangkay, and one sister, Laura Mae Masangkay, all of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled noon-7 p.m. Sunday and Monday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Additional visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 2:30 p.m. service Tuesday in University United Methodist Church, 4412 S. Maryland Parkway. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Alexander 'Al' Pilkington

Alexander "Al" Pilkington, 82, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 10, 1921, in Rockaway Beach, N.Y. A resident for 16 years, he was a retired crane operator, a World War II Navy veteran and life member and past commander of the American Legion.

He is survived by one daughter, Carol Pilkington of Canyon Country, Calif.; one sister, Kathleen Gartland; and two brothers, George and Charles.

A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.

Robert Raymond Rhine

Robert Raymond Rhine, 85, of Henderson died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born April 29, 1919, in Los Angeles. A resident for 43 years, he was a retired general contractor and a World War II Navy veteran.

He is survived by two daughters, Carole Whitcher of Riverside, Calif., and Katie Robles of Oceanside, Calif.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Robert B. Steffen

Robert B. Steffen, 51, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 23, 1952, in Alton, Ill. A resident for 50 years, he was a carpenter, a Vietnam War Army veteran and a member of Carpenters Local 1977.

He is survived by three daughters, Amy Rojas of Henderson, Nicole Steffen of North Las Vegas and Christina Steffen of Las Vegas; one son, Joshua Steffen, and his father, Edward Steffen, both of Las Vegas; his mother, Dorothy Steffen, and one sister, Patricia Holland, both of Grand Junction, Colo.; two brothers, Edward Steffen of Overton and Kenneth Steffen of Las Vegas; and 10 grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Ling S. Dinah Zee

Ling S. Dinah Zee, 69, of Las Vegas died Tuesday. She was born Nov. 27, 1934, in Shanghai, China. A resident for four years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, William Ching; two sons, David Wei Tsao of Las Vegas and Steven Tsao of Pleasant Hill, Calif.; two sisters; one brother; and four grandchildren.

Services will be 10 a.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.
