Musical society looks for singers
The Southern Nevada Musical Arts Society invites interested singers to audition for its 42nd season.
There are openings in both the Society's Musical Arts Chorus, which performs choral masterworks with a professional orchestra, and the Musical Arts Singers.
For an audition appointment, call Music Director Dr. Douglas R. Peterson at 451-6672. Additional information may be obtained at www.snmas.com.
Benefit planned for fire captain
A raffle will be held at 6 tonight at the Suncoast to benefit Las Vegas Fire & Rescue Capt. Theo Adams.
The event will include a no-host bar, hors d'oeuvres and dancing. Prizes include a cruise, trip to Hawaii, photography package, golf and room package, dining certificates, massage packages, gift baskets, artwork and more.
The doors will open at 5 p.m.
