Tops in Blue will perform on Fremont Street

When the Air Force talent troupe Tops in Blue 2004 takes center stage at 8 p.m. Sept. 9 at the Fremont Street Experience, one of the singers won't have to travel far for the gig.
1st Lt. Matthew Fuller of Nellis Air Force Base is now a member of the elite group of 35 entertainers who perform for the Air Force.
The lieutenant, a member of the Air Warfare Center Public Affairs staff, competed at a base level talent show, as thousands of airmen do each year, to earn selection as a member of Tops in Blue. He then participated in an intense 45-day training camp at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas.
The troupe's engagement at the Fremont Street Experience lasts one performance only. The show theme "Musicology" is a musical mixture of R&B, gospel, country and pop music.
Las Vegas is among more than 120 locations the group will perform at, doing over 150 shows in the United States and 22 foreign countries. This year's world tour celebrates 50 years of entertainment history through the United States, Europe, Southwest Asia, Balkans and the Far East
Tops in Blue 2004 is sponsored in part by AT&T and Coca-Cola. Show goers will be able to register for a chance to win a prize of 1,000 call minutes from AT&T. Entries collected during the show will also have chance to win one of the prizes from the AT&T Million Minute Giveaway.
