The Department of Veterans Affairs has launched a formal program in Las Vegas to help veterans looking for hospice care.
Nathan Adelson Hospice and Creekside Hospice have been selected as the contracted hospice providers for Las Vegas Valley veterans. Prior to the renewable contracts being issued, veterans had to find their own hospice providers.
The VA pays for the hospice care and veterans can choose between home-based hospice care from either provider or inpatient hospice care at Nathan Adelson.
