Police seek help in solving holdups

Henderson Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a robbery suspect who has held up at gunpoint four Henderson businesses this month.
The suspect is described as a white man with short blond hair, average build, 5-foot 8-inches to 5-foot 10-inches tall and weighing between 160 and 180 pounds. He appears to be between 18 to 25 years old, Henderson Police spokesman Keith Paul said.
At times he wears a white ball cap with dark writing on it.
In one robbery he wore a sleeveless shirt that showed a "bad tattoo" on his right arm, police said. The tattoo went from his shoulder down to his elbow and was described by the victim as a dragon with what appeared to be a tribal pattern.
The man is accused of robbing four businesses from Aug. 7 to Aug. 11. All of the robberies took place in the afternoon, Paul said, and no one was hurt.
The first robbery occurred at Neon Sun, a tanning salon near Green Valley Parkway and Interstate 215.
Clerk Stacey Long said a clerk and a customer were in the store at the time and both have been interviewed by police, she said. Neither one was injured during the robbery.
The second robbery was reported on Aug. 8 at Musclemag International, a fitness apparel and gymnasium accessories shop at Eastern and Serene avenues.
Clerk Lincoln Chan said the robber wandered around the store for about 15 minutes before approaching a clerk.
"We got it all on tape," Chan said.
A Radio Shack at Green Valley Parkway and Sunset Road was the third target of the robbery suspect.
The robber hit a Bath and Body Works store on Sunset Road at Marks Street in the latest robbery.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Henderson Police Department at 267-5000 or Crime Stoppers at 385-5555.
