Darlene April Carroll-Serres
Darlene April Carroll-Serres, 36, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born March 24, 1968, in Vancouver, British Columbia. A resident for 22 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Jacob Robert Carroll-Serres; one daughter, Catherine Jade Carroll; her mother, Shirley Carroll; one brother, John McClaren; and two sisters, Kelly JoAnn Petryck and Laurie Fairbanks.
A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Friday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.
Gail Marie Dewey
Gail Marie Dewey, 62, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 26, 1941, in New York. A resident for 38 years, she was a waitress.
She is survived by her husband, Edward; two sons, Jack M. Vosburgh and Joseph A. Vosburgh, both of Nevada; one brother, William J. Harris, and one sister, Barbara Newberry, both of New York; and two grandchildren.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling private arrangements.
Ruth E. Floyd
Ruth E. Floyd, 67, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born April 14, 1937, in Fannin, Miss. A resident for 45 years, she was a technician for the Nevada Desert Development Mental Center, a member of Mothers Board and Choir, Mother Prayer leader and an aide to a pastor.
She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Lynn Floyd and Sharon Louise Floyd, three sons, Howard Glenn Floyd, Singleton Floyd Jr., and Jackie Lee Floyd, all of Las Vegas; five brothers, Clarence Taylor of California, Samuel L. Taylor of Louisiana and Willie Earl Taylor, John Wesley Taylor and Winston Taylor Jr., all of Mississippi; eight sisters, Margaret Boone, Betty Taylor, Mary Taylor, Dorthey Willis, Diane Taylor, Bobby Mckee and Jimmie Ruth, all of Mississippi, and Alice Norris of Nevada; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-8 p.m. Friday in Thomas and Jones Funeral Home, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Greater St. Paul Church of God in Christ, 911 N. G St. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.
Robert Walter Genever
Robert Walter Genever, 51, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born April 7, 1953, in Rhode Island.
He is survived by one son, Robert Genever of Tampa, Fla.; and his parents, Barbara Dorothy and Ernest J. Genever Sr. of Warwick, R.I.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Cranston, R.I. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Joe Louis Howard Sr.
Joe Louis Howard Sr., 66, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 16, 1938, in Mansford, La. A resident for 45 years, he was a heavy equipment operator for the federal government and a member of Local 12.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy J.; four sons, Joe L. Howard Jr., James E. Howard, Leonard E. Howard and Michael M. Howard, and two daughters, Patricia A. Howard and Dora L. Howard, all of Las Vegas; two brothers, Allen C. Howard of Las Vegas and Percy Howard of Louisiana; two sisters, Jerlean Ennis of Las Vegas and Dorothy Crea of California; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 1-8 p.m. Friday in Thomas and Jones Funeral Home, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Greater St. James Missionary Baptist Church, 316 Madison Ave. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.
Katherine S. Kirby
Katherine S. Kirby, 47, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born May 20, 1957, in Baltimore. A resident for 17 years, she was a clerk in the entertainment industry.
She is survived by three daughters, Tia Mills, Sade Bunch and Kimberly Taylor, one son, Ezra Bunch, and her mother, Mary E. Thomas, all of Las Vegas; one brother, Raymount B. Kirby of Baltimore; one sister, Joanne Kirby of Delaware, Md.; and four grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 1-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday in Palm Chapel, Main.
Louie Lambropolos
Louie Lambropolos, 68, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. He was born Jan. 24, 1936, in East St. Louis, Ill. A resident for 36 years, he was a retired taxicab driver and an Army veteran.
He is survived by two sons, Anthony Lampros of Doves Junction, Ill., and Angelo Lampros of Ray Township, Mich.; two daughters, Nanette Headrick of Irving, Texas, and Natalie Lampros of Brownsville, Texas; two sisters, Betty Skarlatos of Delran, N.J., and Becky Alexander of Wheaton, Ill.; one brother, John Lampros of Las Vegas; and six grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.
John R. Leake
John R. Leake, 53, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 18, 1950, in Kentucky. A resident for nine years, he was a carpenter and a member of Carpenters Local 1977.
He is survived by one son, Jonathan R. Leake, and one daughter, Christine Leake, both of Utah; and two brothers, Michael Leake of Kentucky and James Leake of Colorado.
A memorial service will be 6 p.m. Friday at Carpenters Local 1977, 501 N. Lamb Blvd. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Eva JaNene Matthews
Eva JaNene Matthews, 68, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local care center. She was born April 24, 1936, in Logan, Utah. A resident for 28 years, she was a retired bookkeeper for an air-conditioning company.
She was preceded in death by one son, Scott W. Matthews.
She is survived by her husband, James; two sons, Jeffery J. Matthews of Whitehall, Wis., and Mark A. Matthews of Las Vegas; and six grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-5 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Services will be 9 a.m. Sunday in the LDS Smoke Ranch chapel. Graveside services will be 10:40 a.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Evelyn M. McFann
Evelyn M. McFann, 71, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. A secretary in the health care industry, she was born March 18, 1933, in Lykens, Pa.
She is survived by three daughters, Donna Graffagnino, Diane Kincaid and Karen Gage, and one brother, Allen Clough, all of Las Vegas; and five grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 6-8 p.m. today in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
Timothy C. McKelvy
Timothy C. McKelvy, 35, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 30, 1969, in Utah. A resident for two weeks, he was a waiter.
He is survived by one daughter, Keisha McKelvy; his mother, Ellen Dickerson-Heart; and two brothers, Tony and Julius.

Catherine Ramacciotti
Catherine Ramacciotti, 88, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. A resident for 51 years, she was born Dec. 21, 1915, in Pueblo, Colo.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry; one sister, Victoria Marion; and two brothers, Frank Cristiano Jr. and Vincent Cristiano.
She is survived by one stepdaughter, Mary Carroll, and one brother, Eugene E. Cristiano, both of California; and two grandchildren.

Virginia A. Reeves aka Virginia Asuncion Casuga
Virginia A. Reeves aka Virginia Asuncion Casuga, 58, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born April 8, 1946, in the Philippines. A resident for eight years, she was a caregiver.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Reeves; one son, Christopher Casuga; one daughter, Maria Dulce Billena; two brothers, Francisco Asuncion and Domingo Asuncion; four sisters, Flora Alejandro, Lorenza Fontejon, Josefina Carpuz and Maina Bumanglag; and five grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2 p.m. until a 4 p.m. service Saturday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will be in Hawaii.
Jordan B. Righi
Jordan B. Righi, 73, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born July 20, 1931, in New York. A resident for 20 years, he was a retired postal carrier and an Army Air Corps veteran.
He is survived by one son, Jordon; three daughters, Lisa, Lori and Deya; his mother, Laura; one brother, Sal; one sister, Laverne; and four grandchildren.
A graveside memorial service will be 10 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

William Wong, 48, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 22, 1955, in Hong Kong. A resident for 23 years, he was a restaurateur.
He is survived by his wife, Wai Lee; two daughters, Cindy Wong and Connie Wong, both of Las Vegas; his mother, Kim Wong, and four sisters, Mary Daly, Joann Lee, Rose Luciano and Jennie Gin, all of Chicago.
Visitation is scheduled noon-7 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. until a 3 p.m. service Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Frank Vuckovic
Frank Vuckovic, 92, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 23, 1911, in Croatia. A resident for 20 years, he was a retired bakery owner/operator.
He is survived by two sons, Frank Vuckovic of Las Vegas and Mark Vuckovic of Tuebingen, Germany; and four grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to an 11 a.m. service Saturday in the Shrine of the Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 55 E. Reno Ave. Burial will follow at noon Saturday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
