UNLV offering class on betting football games

UNLV will be offering a class this fall called "Sports betting: How to win betting on football."
Only in Vegas.
Class instructor Stephen Nover, a longtime local gaming writer and sports handicapper, plans to line up prominent bookmakers, oddsmakers and professional gamblers to speak to the class.
Among the topics of discussion will be "betting styles, money management, value of a number, line movements, the best places to make your wagers, information sources, parlays and how much you should expect to win," according to a prospectus.
The class meets from 7 to 8 p.m. each Wednesday, Sept. 29 through Nov. 3.
