The Public Utilities Commission of Nevada on Wednesday will hold a consumer session to gather feedback on Southwest Gas Corp.'s proposed $16.3 million, or 5 percent, annual rate increase request.
The request was made by the natural gas distribution company in order to cover higher fuel costs.
The session will begin at 6 p.m. at the Sahara West Library, at 9600 W. Sahara Ave. If approved as requested the average customer would see rates rise by $2.15 a month, beginning Dec. 1.
